I'm aware of Gnome, notice the foot in the upper left corner.
I was more refering to the OS-X style menu bar at the bottom of the page.
Unless that is standard on Gnome now...I use KDE personally.

I'd like to know what the Darwin coding actually does myself. There's still a lot I want to learn about macs.

I think the bottom of that photo is just a dock to launch programs though. I don't play around with Gnome too much myself. I'm a KDE addict too.

It's open source I see....not that I'd know what the hell to do with it once it downloaded.

I used to use SuSE...I gave up on it after 9.1 and went to Debian...
Also check at Gnome-Look for more icons, etc....
