somebody I know was/is trying to hook up a JAMMA board to a dedicated 2 slot but running into problems with the sound. Is an adaptor necessary and are they available for sale?

Yes, an adapter is necessary. I believe James makes one that will allow you to run a Jamma board in an MVS machine. I would hit him up on that. I think his adapter is called "Big Red." I was actually just looking into this.

Yes sir, JNX Big Red

If the JAMMA board needs -5v for audio, you'll also need a Negatron. Most(?) MVS cabinet don't supply -5v, my 4-slot didn't anyway. The Big Red adaptor has a header to plug one in easy-peasy

I'm referring to an MVS input TO JAMMA output. I need an adaptor to slide in the mvs interface and output JAMMA.
If that's what it is, I'll refer.

It's exactly what it is. I use it in my big red to play PGM games all the time

Jamma Nation X gear, is top shelf!

I have one and it's perfect! Just wish I could more easily find the correct wired connector for the stereo input.

I can always make those, I just need to know what game it’s for.

Was planning to make one with female RCA jacks. That way I can just plug in the Konami and Data East cables I already made with male jacks. Plus Mistercade amped stereo.
