Apparently they have another title in the works... Some kind of side scrolling shooter ? Meh... I can't remember now, Fakk will.
Agreed but with the eventual aim at mass appeal thus concreting new developer profile ?...
Well the jobs already done mate.
I fear It will never see MVS release, probably it will fall by the wayside in light of future developments.... Any news on the NGCD release ?
I'd hate to think the Neo was just the proving grounds then pushed aside afterwards.
QFT... I think a few saw this comming in the drama during 1st run release. I didn't see it but in hindsight I'm glad I got out of the AES version when I did (moving more into to MVS at that point.)Gotenks326 said:$700 for a homebrew game (Blah, blah, it looks professional; the reason why people pay butt loads of money for expensive AES titles is because of their value and 100% authenticity as an original SNK(Playmore) title) still is out of the traditional Neo-Geo pricing. It's even worse when you know for a fact that the game will be ported in BETTER forms to other formats (There's no more exclusive quality for the title; you know that you're basically paying butt loads of money for an inferior version. The developer's used this version to see what people didn't like about it, and then made those changes to this cheaper DC port).
Gokenks326 said:Oh, and I expected them to do an MVS release as well for max profits (You should release different versions of the game from most expensive to least expensive to maximize profits; first get all the people that'll pay $700 for it, then all the people that'd pay $300 (Guessed MVS price), then all the people that'd pay $60 (Guessed NGCD price), then you have the cheap DC release).

I still love my AES version of Last Hope and will never sell it. I've gotten used to the difficulty of the game so reducing the amount of debris in the explosions or reducing the speed of the bullets does nothing more but take some of the beauty away from this game. Making it easier for people to play is simply un-needed as I can get to the final boss now with little to no problems and I'm not even really good at shooters. The only real advantage to a CD version of this game will be the music tracks and that's what I'm buying the NGCD version for.
I suppose that makes the play-asia.com region free 360 deals for around 40 USD awesome chances to get some newer games.
