I guess if you want it you'll have to pay scalper prices.

Japanese PS4 release indirectly confirmed (?)
Is this Strictly Limited only or will there also be an ININ release? As Bubble Bobble ININ is already in stores and I have to wait a while now.

All that money and they don't even have all the games.

Ya, I can't justify purchasing this for that price and the limited game selections on each and then the wait for it to come out on top of that. I still have at least two games I'm waiting on from them and a bunch from LRG still too.

I'll happily stick with my Japanese version. Since they sell out, I know I'm not sticking it to anyone, but I don't like the idea of supporting this FOMO nonsense.

I like Darius, just not $160 worth. It’s a neat set but just not worth it for that price IMO.

Yeah, the price is too steep for what you get.
Als didn't realize it was pre-order, I hate pre-order.

It doesn't matter. It's just another physical release of a game for people that don't actually play the games.

Yeah, when I read:
6 SLG-exclusive acrylic art cards
3 SLG-exclusive enamel pin badges

I just rolled my eyes. Shelf queen material right there.

There was a time in the late 90’s/early 2000’s where I’d see these crazy Japanese editions of games and be like, “Why don’t we get cool shit like this?” Now it’s been taken to the extreme and I don’t need any more life sized Kojima fetus statues cluttering up the joint.

I'm spewing that I missed the Darius 30th Anniversary release, that had all the Darius games minus the bullshit cards and all that noise. Pity it's resold for 4 times the release price now...

The 30th Anniversary collection was actually a soundtrack collection and included only one game - the arcade version of the first Darius. It was the first release on a home console if I remember correctly.

Oh really? well shit I read that wrong big time. I guess it wasn't really worth buying anyway.

Today, M2 held the M2 Shmups Thanksgiving Festival in Japan, where they announced that they are working on a PlayStation 4 version of Darius Cozmic Collection, as well as new free updates for the Nintendo Switch version that will be present in the base PS4 version.Aside from the games that were originally in the Switch version, Darius Plus (PC-Engine), Super Nova (SNES), and Sagaia (Genesis) will be added to the collection. Aside from this, there will be new gadgets (extra features), new modes, and additional English language support among other improvements.
