damaging saturn

ive heard alot about damaging saturns with the pro action carts
ive heard that pulling them in and out damages the slot or something like that..
my question..
if you had a 5 in 1..why would you want to take it out?it would work with domestic and imports
i was thinking about buying the 5 in 1 so i could play imports

you can leave the cart plugged in all the time.
the saturn's cart slot is pretty shitty. carts don't "damage" it, it simply is that flaky.

Well the memory in the 5-in-1 cart is flash memory that can't direct save... In order to use it you need to save to the internal saturn battery and then copy it over to the cart.. So games that need the backup (mainly RPGs) would need a backup cart with direct save... Otherwise, I have my 5-in-1 plugged in my saturn and it hasn't damaged it at all (although it can take a good 10 minutes getting in just right so it actually works, but then no troubles...)
