Crystalis (NES SNK games)

Crystalis is a great game. Recently beat it this year. I would rent it a lot as a kid and never got far. I forced myself through it and even streamed the playthrough on twitch. Very fun game figuring out where to go and such. Only thing that I found annoying was the requirement to switch elements too often as they almost always made 2 enemies weak to an element and 2 others that spawned in the same area immune to the ones those were weak against.

man, I really need to check this out. The only SNK game I palyed on the NES (when I still didn't know what SNK was) is Baseball Stars - and it rocked. Will also put P.O.W. and Guevara on the list...

Crystalis HD remake for phone or console would be awesome.

I was actually playing this with an old friend recently. We both loved the game, but had never discussed it with each other. He showed up with a Crystalis t shirt.
I played this game before I really knew the extent of SNK's library as a kid.

POW was a fun game, but it definitely took some patience. It's not as frustrating as Bayou Billy, but it had some difficult moments.
