Is anyone playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive on Steam?
I played Counter Strike on and off over the years, but it never really grabbed me until this game. I always found that I died too quickly and it was too difficult to find a good server. The new game has match making that drops everyone into a public game on their local servers. I've already made some new German friends living in southern China.
I played Counter Strike Source for about 26 hours over the last few years and found it fun, but extremely frustrating. I felt like I was always getting sniped and could never hit anyone squarely. I haven't felt that way in GO at all. It took me a little while to get used to the pace and taking aim and then shooting, but now I'm into it.
I'm pretty bad at the game. My kill/death ratio is at a low .6, but I think I'm slowly getting better. Someone accused me of cheating after some awesome head shots with the deagle.
Let me know if you want to play. I'm always on the mic and it would be rad to get a team of 5 neo-geo.com players. I'm a bit worried about the ping, but I used to play CSS with my brother in America all the time.
