I'm just a lot more used to ICQ. AIM is still unnatural to me, even after using it all these years.

Hey Spin the chicken, I went to the hub and barely found any KOF match vids. You know any member who has some? For 2001 (the one Kofonline held preferably) and below (2k2 vids are boring as hell). And any Garou vids up there? Never saw any competitive matches of that game anywhere.

To those who get on the hub for 3s (if you need help getting DC to work AIM me), there is a great chinese tourney vid (about 600-700 mb). I highly recommend it, way more fun to watch that Japanese poke>DM crap.

lol "the chicken" My ass, i'm a damn killer man. I only didn't play you cuz you always asked me at wierd times like when I was gonna go to sleep. But aaaaaanywaaaaay, no I don't know any members with KOF vids. Its hard to find KOF vids on the hub seeing as its a predominantly capcom movie hub. It kinda frustrated me but i say what the hell, i'll just find them off a webpage.

If you haven't seen the Japan 5on5 tourney then you haven't seen some serious 3s play. the Uriens and Makotos in those vids are superb, i learned just about everything i know from those 3 5on5 vids. I'll check out those chinese vids for sure.

Yeah I saw that vid and man is it boring accept for a few select matches. Back forth back forth>crouch MK> DM, rinse and repeat. There were too mnay Chun-Lis, Wriens and Kens.

There was one good Makoto player though, he was the one who lost the final match, hehe made the crowd go crazy.

Yeah that chinese vid is fun to watch, their character preferance is different and they play differently as well. Aslo check out the Toronto Tourney (its called TOSF), some sweet stuff their too.

Thats one of the dumbest post I've read in a long while. I watch them for enjoyment and nothing more, watching one vid with that stuff is fine but watching pretty much the same ones over and over is not my cup of tea.

So that makes him special in some way? Those vids are boring, you'll know what I mean after watching complte tourneys. Not all matches are boring though since there are some very exciting ones (usually far inbetween).

I think Diavle is talking about the fundamental difference in the way you play the game.

One way is just for fun, so you just play. The other is to play to friggin win.

When you play to win, it devolves into footsies, poking with the right normal that will chain into a super if it connects.

Relatively boring match, but there is a lot to be learned from them. Though after playing Diavle, I have a LOT more to learn than he does. :crying:

Probably why I'm still pretty excited about watching even those vids.
