Anyone know how to completely get rid of firefox?

After uninstalling it, deleting the firefox folder and uninstalling, then reinstalling Im kind of annoyed that it keeps the exact same settings (bookmarks and all).

How do I get rid of all these damn settings and shit so I can do a clean install.

Delete the C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME HERE\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox folder.

and delete this one too:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME HERE\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Then uninstall. That should remove everything.

You may want to just MOVE the folders in case you need something from your old profile.

Remove the following from your computer. That should take care of the settings.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

That only gets rid of one piece of the pie.

You go girl!

Yeah, I did the same thing (deleted the profile I thought it was using) and was scratching my head when it came back up with the same profile... and issues... as before I uninstalled it. A quick search on my HDD revealed the 2 folders I needed to delete.

Slightly related, But Firefox seems to have removed my scroll bar... Even on drop down menus. Is a full reinstall the only way to fix it?

The only hope I can give is the fact that I'm listening to Duran Duran...

This wouldn't happen if you n00bs used Linux...

Disclaimer: Soniku17 does not actually run Linux, but he should.
