Feel free to substitute in the words "home cart" for "MacBook Pro" and "SNK" in for "Apple" as needed.

If I worked at the genius bar of that person I'd punch him.

Wow, there are some strange people in this world.

I want to find that guy's house so I can put a boot print on the top of that damn laptop.

LOL, I remember him calling me and complaining about some home carts being off by a few grams in weight compared to others from the same batch. And how one of the releases had a spine stress mark on all of the manuals.

Okay... :-J

It's one thing to take good care of your possessions, it's another to be super anal about something that is meant to be used and will thus accrue minor use markings. No way to keep a computer mint unless you don't use it.

Those pics are actually 1:1 scale photos of the new 3' MBP.

I love how the aluminum finish looks like sandpaper there.

Now I feel like an asshole for forwarding that, but TonK was bored. I actually have a relative that's OCD, and I don't mean the "keep it mint" kind... the actually real, clinically diagnosed and such kind. So this is a shot at the people that buy something and then have to store it away and not use it folks, not the ones with an illness.

I used to work with a guy that had serious issues with this, and it would take him like 30 minutes to properly groom his desk before he could go home from work. Keep in mind that he was generally grooming his desk continually though the day. That's shit's scary.

Yup, there's a big difference between being OCD and overly anal...the guy below us is certified OCD and his patterns are crazy. He gives his shitty car a full, 40 minutes inspection like three or four times a day. Lifting up the hood, checking EVERY fluid, spraypainting any tiny little blemish, etc. Four fucking times a day, seven days a week, 365.

Yeah, I don't think this guy is OCD, he's just horrible anal retentive. I admit that I can be a bit anal as well with certain things. Depends on how much they cost and how hard they are to replace. Honestly, though, no matter how hard I try, everything gets scratched, dented, dinted, what-have-you, eventually. No real reason to stress over it. If you're at the point that you can't use something you own for fear of damaging it... sell it. Sell it immediately.

lol, I always used to think that I was extremely picky with my homecarts, but he really did take things to a whole new level... he had this thing for "cart rattle" :help::rolleyes:

I've never dealt with any one as anal as him... weighing carts... lol, what a tosser. :lolz:
