Oh snap. I didn't realize this came out on my birthday. I'm debating about getting it --even if
"Civ 1+" is not a bad thing. The IGN video of the gameplay appeared that way.
If this is like the original Civ, it will still be addicting as hell even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles (which are also great) that were put in II, III, IV (and all of their expansions) and sort of stream-lined for Revolutions.
The reviews (7s and 8s) seem confirm that its more like the original.
Oh shit, this might be the holy grail of travel time wasters for me. Oh god, its full of stars...
