Chicago Area people... I need your help

This chick is visiting Chicago in like a week and a half, and wants to hang out with me one of the days.

Any recommendations on what's cool to do around the city? I've only been there a handful of times. Last time I had people visit we went to Navy Pier but it wasn't that much fun. Any cool places you guys would suggest I take her?

On a side note I've never actually met this girl before. We've just kept in touch after we met on IRC in like 1995... so yeah, it should be cool to finally meet after like 9 years.

Navy Pier is were I take the ladies before a night of hot steamy sex . There is a lot do do there and it makes women moist.

If she's the open minded type, take her into CHINA TOWN and order off of the "Real Menu" and have the waiters tell you what is what and experience fine cusine the way Chinese people eat it, not the watered down Americanized Chinese shit everyone takes for Chinese food. I had some really interesting plates of food back in '98 when I was there the night before meeting Chow Yun-Fat for the world premiere of "The Replacement Killers". If she's not so open minded but is easily amused, take her to China Town and let her eat at the Kentucky Fried Chicken all done up in Kanji/Ideograms {or whatever the Chinese call the characters, heck it was borrowed from them anyhow}. That's my advice on food. NAVY PIER is cool, but know first off if that's her kind of thing. If she hasn't done the Sears Tower, go to the top and from the observation deck do a "Cameron" from Ferris Buller: Lean over onto the glass and look down. From there it's all up to you.

Its full service and by that I mean they serve beer inside and there are hookers outside.

Lol what Ive never seen any hookers outside of the black hole, it's all about those babes in the discount mall. You want hookers the corner of Kedzie&pulaski is da spot.

I forget exactly where it is but it has a good mood and very good food. If this the first time you are meeting maybe good idea to meet at a Star Bucks for a cup of coffee (Insert your drink here). See if you hit it off in person, then make some suggestions after that.

I thought of 2 more places for you to go & free.

The radio museum & tourist center (It's a really interesting place and I think they have live music on certain days).

The Chicago museum of Natural History(Near the water), Big place and interesting. I think it is free on Tuesdays. Otherwise, it contribution based.

1st off how old are you? There are tons of cool places you could take her, House of Blues, Zannies Comedy Club, a Stroll down lake shore drive, Recreation drive has a nice place to sit and watch the waves pass by. You could easily use it to bust a move and go for the kiss. If you go north you could always try a Salsa or Merengue Club, milwakee ave is full of em. Even if you dont know how to dance after a few brews or drinks she wont even notice the differnce. If your talking Mc donalds night take her to the classic rock&roll mc donalds down town as you can tell her it's a landmark since it's going to be torn down soon and it can be her only chance to see it and it will be cheap to eat there if your running low on funds, It wont make you look like a total cheapy since it's a classier Mc donalds with some sort of history. If she seems like a freaky woman a Strip Club is always nice , mmmm try diamonds or the industrial strip just outside of chicago in indiana worth the trip there as full contact nudity is allowed. With everything dude just ask her what she enjoys and take it from there, Oh if it's a hot night go to taylor st, there are some super italian ice places there Im sure she will dig em.

Navy Pier is for little kids and old people. Don't bother with it. I would recommend going to Wrigleyville (as there's always something to do there) or Boy's Town (right by Wrigleyville, but more interesting in a way). Depending on what kinds of music you're into, you might want to see a show at either the Metro, Bottom Lounge or, my favorite, the Fireside Bowl. The Fireside is probably the best to take people from out of town, as it's something different from the normal music venues.
