I personally think this guy is far harder than Adel and Chizuru+Maki... if you fight him without being cheesy. He's fast as hell, has impenetrable AA, and fuck, he just does a lot of damage.

I'm hoping we'll at least discover some strats for at least one character in every team. Here goes...

Griffon: Block fireballs, hcb+D when he runs at you.
Ash: Spam b,f+C fireball.
Clark: Block fireballs, hcf+D when he runs at you.
King: Spam qcfqcf+D fireball.
Daimon: Block fireballs, dp+D when he runs at you.

Kusanagi is as dumb as every ohter character in the game, all you do is hold on defensive crouch and once he runs to you do a cA or a cB and he'll fall for it all the time.

That trick with Ash(keep doing his C projectile)works on everyone in the game, you can get straight perfects up until Maki just by doing that with him on any level.

I agree, but this guy has to be a fucker in human hands. His fdf+a never had so much invincibility. Whats with playmore and making cheap sub bosses playable? This ruined SVC for compet play as far as im concerned.

Joe: HCF+C (His Hurricane upper move whatever the combination is) whenever Kusanagi launches a fireball, if you are close enough you'll block the fireball with the first hurricane and get an unblockable on the second.

Ralf's HCF+D grapple has so many invincibility frames that Kusanagi won't be a threat at all.

It's not invincible, it's got auto gaurd when he's about to grab. I got hit by Gato's qcf, qcf+P and did Ralf's hcf+D and they bother froze for about 1 sec then Ralf grabbed him out of it.

You call it auto guard, I call it invincibility frames. Same thing.

Auto gaurd= A move that automatically blocks for you, you still recieve gaurd crush damage in the move, but you can't be gaurd crushed out of it.

Invincibility frames= You can't be touched durring these frames, every time the opponent attacks you and you do a move that has a shit load of invincibility time, you'll always come out the winner in that battle. Use Kusanagi's f,d,df+A for an example, it can knock anything out of it's way and you can't touch him durring some of the frames...that's what invincibility is.

Now you know that Auto Gaurd and Invincibility frames are 2 different things.

I performed HCF+D with Ralf, I recieved Yuri's aereal fireball. The fireball doesn't move or damage me, but it hits. What do you call that?

I personally see invinvibility frames as those frames of a certain move in which the character practically becomes invincible and sort of "transparent", meaning that you don't take damage, and you dodge moves/fireballs. Example - Kyo's Orochinagi, at it's early execution, or his QCFx2 DM in 2003.

I just wait until he runs at me and use Tizoc's hcb+c, he runs right into it everytime.

Never has a suboss been so weak in the corner (even at level 8). All you have to do is put him in the corner wit Iori and just hammer qcb p again and again. Cheesy win yes but getting a perfect on a level 8 boss is somewhat amusing.

After the initial throw/follow-up with clark you can just walk up, sC, grab for the rest of the match.

Playing kusanagi just block the initial sC, fireball and go straight into his qcf D,D, DM/ hcb C. (for Chizuru get her into the corner, knock her down then spend the rest of the round doing run, sC, hcb C/qcf D,D, hcb C -> DM)

With iori you can trap kusanagi in the corner and just do jD, sC, qcb Cx3. (same thing goes for Adel and Chizuru)

I never really had a problem with him. I use K', do his crowbite, and cancel into his super version, usually does some decent damage. Then just simply avoid Kusanagi's set ups, and roll in for the win. I don't think it's cheese, it's just how I get passed him. That or beat the life out of him with Yamazaki.
