Change Usernames

Ever thought about letting us change our username's once? Underneath our name it could say "was XXXXXX" or something to that effect.

6 months or so later that would go away...

Any comments? This would prevent people from moving accounts so often, and would leave a trail of their previous name.

No practical way to implement the "Formerly Known As..." bit. We used to have the option enabled for people to change their name, but no longer. We thought about having one day a year where people could change their name, but with all the scams recently, the idea will probably be even less well received than before.

with only 46 posts, it's not a big deal to drop your current account and make a new one with the username of your choice.

I like that idea. pity it wont happen.

Yeah, understandable you don't want people to continually change their username - That's why I was hoping the "was XXXXXX" would have worked. Oh well no biggie.

I wanna change my name too, I only picked zorro as a nickname because I was joking I didn't think that's what my uzername would get turned into.

If you want to change your name then just create a new account, then just spam like a mad man. Nobody likes a spammer, but most people do it anyway.

It's a nice idea in theory, but I like to use these forums to get neo stuff. And I just started a couple of sales/trades after those I'll be respectable unless I'm non-existant(another user).
Then people will say how can we trust you you bloke you live all the fucking way in america.
