Didn't see this posted. If it is, can a MOD please delete this thread?

Glad I didn't find a copy of Cardfighters DS when I was looking last week. :annoyed:

Play testing...?

We don't need no stinking play testing.

Nintendo Power has had a few 3-5 pages articles on this game, I bet they're thrilled.

Kinda sad that SNKP dropped the ball on (arguably) their most anticipated title in years.

They probably gave it 5 stars like they do every game. :tickled:

I came in here expecting broken to be something like a broken fighter with infinite loops etc. Broken as in the 22nd level of Donkey Kong wasn't even on my radar screen.

they only do that with first party games...

it's a damn shame too. the ngpc ones were so damn awesome

still can't put this one down...even though I know I can't get the true ending.

SNKP sucks. I've had it with them. Really this blows. I haven't yet made it to that point in the game, but now I have a game stopping glitch to look foward to, in addition to the no wi-fi support. Wonderful.

I'm really glad I couldn't find a copy of this game last week, this is BS. I wonder if they'll ship fixed copies to those who already purchased it? :spock:

I think the ones to really blame are the lazy translators/programmers which I'm sure were not part of SNKPUSA.

Oh heck no, you can't let SNKP off the hook for this one. From what I understand the Japanese version is fine, well, no glitches at least. Doesn't matter if it's the programmers fault, SNKP puts their name on the package and it's their job to make sure the programmers did it right. It's their job to make sure their games are of the best quality, which they appearently cannot do right. Screw them, I've had it. If this is any indication of what KOFXII will turn out like, they can keep it, and any more brilliant ideas they dream of to screw up.

That's the worst excuse if there ever was one. Even if they gave the contract to the lowest bidder, they could still hire a few people to play test.

It's not like it's a multimillion dollar next gen title that would take years to program, it's a budget title DS game.

No excuse for incomeptence and laziness. It's amazing SNKP can keep their head above water by clinging to the corpses of SNK's old franchises.

I'm waiting for Namco-Bandai or the like to swallow them up.

Fuck it! I'll play it until it crashes to hell, I bought one and my niece loved it, so I gave it to her, then I bought a second one for myself, fucking SNKP!

Who was making excuses?

Doesn't the Japanese version work just fine? Hence, the comment I made. Playmore's Japanese games are just fine, but whoever is in charge of overseeing American versions needs to be FIRED. This definately should not have happened.

Lol @ comparing this to KOF XII.....

This isn't the first completely broken game to ship on DS. Nintendo needs to shoulder some of the blame for not doing adequate QA on these titles before they are released to manufacturing.

However, yeah, SNK should have caught it. Hopefully they'll make it right.

Just bought mine. I will see if my copy has the glitch. The bug is certainly disappointing as I have been looking forward to this title for a long time. Sigh.. SNK Playmore :oh_no:

So does this mean that ALL of the first shipment games of Cardfighters DS are screwed up? or just a majority of them?

I just picked up the game when a small retail spot got it in. Or am I screwed as it is on a game I've yet to play?

Man, remember how long it took that Bust a Move game to get fixed copies?

SNKUSA just shot themselves in the foot.

I'll find out if it's all the copies once I actually reach the 9th floor. They're lucky I'm obsessed with saving the game before AND after every battle.
