Fuck yes finally! Nice selection of titles too but lets be honest CVS2 is the real drawcard here.

While the CvS 2 is the darling of the collection - as others have pointed out Power Stone is a big deal what with full rollback netcode and the like. I'm crazy excited for Plasma Sword, though! This game doesn't get its due. It's a hell of a lot of fun in the way Breakers Revenge is. It's not the most serious or balanced game, but still is a great time with friends. I played the hell out of it on DC back in the day and enjoy revisiting it every so often. I still have my Japanese copy (incredible box art unlike the US version).

At a closer inspection it looks like CFJ is emulating the arcade version. I could have sworn that was direct to consoles and didn't have an arcade port.

According to Capcom's website there are several changes/alterations to background elements, character art, and endings to most of the games. It even says some of the midnight bliss animations have been removed. What the hell is problematic that needs to be removed in any of these games?
Nothing.

But bitches are gonna bitch.

Everyone talking about alpha & SF3 collection.
That's been done already, does no one remember the 30th anniversary collection?

The biggest issue with that was SFA3 being the arcade version, not the console versions which featured several more characters (Guile, Fei Long, Dee Jay, etc.) and stages.

The PS2 Alpha collection was so much better.

But why play Alpha 3 when Alpha 2 is right there? :buttduck::buttock:

I wish they had put Zero 2 Alpha on there to go with Zero 3 Upper instead of CFJ, nobody cares about that piece of shit.

What all features would the games in this collection be losing that were in their console ports? Any major things like characters or stages?

I assume we're losing the color editor, pair match mode, and customized grooves in CvS 1 & 2.

If there is big news and nobody bothered to make a thread in the news section, I try to so people specifically looking for news will see the news in the news section and then they'll know what's new.
...are you ok?
