I have this weird Capcom "Status" cabinet whose coin door has been drilled by the previous owner to install a front coin mech, as it can be seen in the picture the door is destroyed and the original coin mech has also been gutted together with its mounts,

I intend to rebuild it, but first I will need some pictures and measurements, is there someone here with this same cab who can help me?

here's some photos of the door:

Gabe has a status 18... I don't know anybody who has a 25. You might want to cross post to AO if you haven't yet.

Is Gabe registered here at NG forums? also, is that his nickname in AO? Status 18 and 25's have the same coin doors, only the PCB door is a bit bigger on the 25's.

Would love to see pics of your status once you get things a bit more sorted! Love that cab :-P

Thanks Adderall! Hi skate!

chinitosoccer - I'm replying to your inquiries here (instead of PM) in the off chance that this info will help someone else.

The coin return opening measures 32mm (w) x 31mm (h).

Here are some pics. The red button was added by a previous owner :hammer:. I kept it because it looks better than a hole.

The coin mech itself actually mounts to a bracket, which I failed to get powerdercoated with the rest of my cab, hence the rust. :crying:

Let me know if there is anything else I can provide. I'm happy to help!

Those pics are great, can you take a picture of the bracket without the coin mech?? I'll need to rebuild that and the coin compartment.

I will need measurements for these too:

I'll try to get a good pic of the bracket without the coin mech over the next couple days.

I should also note that these numbers maybe different for you. The Status 18 and 25 do not share the same dimensions. They have different control panels, for example.

Disclaimer: I made every effort to take accurate measurements, but using a tape measure inside a dark tiny cab isn't exactly ideal.

Thanks again Gabe, the control panels are a bit different indeed, but I think they share the same dimensions for the 2 tiny doors, I'm waiting for arcade game measurements from his Status 25 coin door just in case, that way we can see what are the differences between the 2 models more precisely.

If no one else steps up before then, I can definitely get you the measurements early next week. I apologize for the delay, but my schedule has not allowed for much time with the cab as of late.
