Yeah, for those familiar with Adobe Illustrator your image can be traced using the pen tool. Another neat thing about Illustrator is that text can be turned into outlines which will enable you to print fonts without installing them into a printer. The graphics created are what is called a vector graphic which is different than a bitmap graphic. A Vector graphic will enable you to stretch and pull the image proportionally or in your case unproportionally without losing image quality or resolution.​
