I need a favor. A very simple one. I could do it myself, but I don't have the time. For a film project, I need an edited version of Pat Benatar's hit me with your best shot. Under a minute, preferably. I'm thinking of splicing the first fifteen seconds with the first chorus, followed by part of the solo, then the last twenty seconds or so of the song. So basically:

Intro/chorus/solo/last :20 or :30 seconds of song.

I'd need it by Wednesday kthx. I can't really compensate you now as I need a new starter for my Jeep, but I can definitely return the favor sometime down the road.

Unless you mean a complete remix, you can use Goldwave (free) to edit an mp3 to your liking...just cut out the bits you don't want, it's pretty intuitive

Ha. Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like I'll actually have some time to do it before Wednesday, so I'm going to fiddle around with it in Audacity. Just figured I'd be able to get someone with a little less lazy and a little more patience to do it, but I think I got it.
