What are the chances that Germany ends up with a populist, right wing leader after Merkel leaves office? Sounds like Kramp-Karrenbauer won't be the slam dunk Merkel wants her to be.

0%

there's a much greater chance of getting a green party chancellor, and if that happens...may god help us all.

(also we call her AKK-47 here.)

Having had more interaction with the UK in the last 2 years, I can say there are many parts of this that I understand. It's unfortunate, but I don't think the fallout will be near as bad as people predict.

Do you think we will hold onto the union?

Indeed. The damage he’s done to the opinions of once loved members here is profound. He’s the driving force between the likes of Trump, Farage, Scomo, Le Pen, and anyone who will help him break national systems to be remade in his vision.

imo, at this point, there needed to be a revocation of the original referendum or a hard brexit. so i guess we will see where the chips fall.

To be fair yesterday was just a token date, Nothing has changed really and wont until at least the end of the year when the transition period is supposed to end.

But as already proven by this shit storm in a tea cup even then it could still go on longer.....

It took a while but Germany finally won control of Europe.

Albion gave us Cromwell, Guy Fawkes and V like Vendetta... it was just a matter of time till they execute Merkel in an episode that became known as Cumming's Purge. Brexit is a little late anyway, Greenland left already in '85.

Shut your fucking mouth you bat sucking pinko!

It's probably the most boring news of the decade. Britons talk about leaving the European Union, this fucking bus comes out:

b1811d3eafadfc2e4dd45d7528d70cfbd88243ad.jpg

which - imo- is the biggest reason why they voted out, aaaaaaaaaaaand 3.5 years later it finally happened, AND people like titchbits are still saying stuff like, "well this is just a token date" which lets me know this whole shitfest isn't close to over.

I can't imagine how inane watercooler talk must be in the UK these past few years. Nothin' but Brexit.

Hehe, see how parochial we've become? Last two times I know it was, at the very least, about our world domination. But yeah, Europe... next in line is Poland. They want their judges to be elected within the same system that we Germans use. But we are a ripe democracy and what is Poland in comparison? Those ungrateful, eastern antisemitic savages should shut the fuck up, take the Euro and become the next Greece. That's the common German narrative.

Except that it's a completely fabricated part of an actual image war between those, who started WWII and those who deeply suffered from it. Antisemitic? Half of the Polish government has jewish roots, including Kaczynski, so do influential reporters like Bronislaw Wildstein or Damian Diaz and Poland's First Lady - while the opposition is paid from German pockets with their key figure Donald 'special place in hell' Tusk praising himself to have a grandfather, who successfully served in the Wehrmacht. Naturally, he was the perfect choice for the President of the European Council.

Winning control over Europe? Damn... who the fuck we think we are.

This forum is the only chance you plebs have a chance to talk about anything, ANYTHING without social consequence - and I'm the only retard to take advantage of that.

It's gonna be one helluva ride...

I imagine Brexit as the UK trollin' the shit out of the EU... with actual real life consequences...
