I have all of season two on my 'back from the dead' laptop.

Kept it in a bag of rice for 3 months and viola, works again.

edit: point being, i need to watch that shit before I get all cracked out on season 3. I love people who dont watch the show because they think it glorifies meth. hahaha. So glamourous.

It's one of the best shows on tv right now... Now that Archer has ended, it's probably the best show on tv.

Season 2 is fantastic. The seasons move together so seamlessly as well. I feel a connection with a lot of the characters.

Bump. Mother fucker. Somebody dropped this series in the Game of Thrones thread, so I figured I would check it out. Almost finished with season 3. The great thing is season four starts next month, July 17th. Kind of retarded to bump this thread up (or maybe not, others who haven't seen it should really check it out), but what the fuck else am I missing?

Like other shows? It's pretty hard to top Breaking Bad as it's hands down the best drama currently running on television. New season of True Blood starts this Sunday. Not sure there's much else to be excited about ATM.

The Shield maybe, if you liked The Wire (which is also outstanding, for what it's worth).

I remember falling out of interest with True Blood fairly quick. I may have watched 2 and a little bit of 3 seasons but fuck it got boring. I'm currently keeping up with: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead. I'm probably missing a couple more, but I don't want to be in the dark with other badass shows if they're out there.

Alan Ball's stuff is love it or hate it. I loved Six Feet Under, but that show sort of fell apart in my eyes after the third season. I've got a couple friends that feel True Blood has some of the same issues, but I'm not seeing it myself. I'm still digging the show on the whole even though I really hate some of the characters, but I can see why some people don't like it.

Did you watch Boardwalk Empire? One of my recent favorites and I really look forward to the next season. Did you not watch The Killing on AMC? First season just ended the same night as GoT. That show has some issues as well, but overall, it's pretty good. I'm sort of itching to watch the Dutch series that it was adapted from. It's won all kinds of awards.

Other than those, you've pretty much got all the A-list shows covered.

I think about this show all the time, anyone know when it returns?

Those are my top favorite shows, along with Spartacus.

All I'm hoping for in Season 4 is a bit more dark humor. Seems like that gave way to survival and fear. When they had the episode in the laundromat cooker with Jesse and Walter chasing the fly, that totally brought me back to the first two seasons.

Small flaws notwithstanding, this is my favorite show on TV right now.

That was the weirdest episode out of the whole series. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it for its uniqueness, but I think that kind of thing could be overdone.

Yes it was retarded to bump this thread. Got my hopes up.

I hate it when I get into a series after the 3rd or 4th season, because I become spoiled. I was able to watch the first 3 seasons of breaking bad in one week. Now I've gotta watchem one at a time, LIKE A CHUMP

Wasn't retarded to bump it after all. I'm going to check out Sparticus after I'm finished catching up with Breaking Bad. It served it's purpose. I was fishing for more recommendations.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fly episode.

Last season I was patient enough to wait for the season to end and just torrent it. I hate watching shows one episode a week as well.

As for Sparticus, I couldn't get into that show. Some of my friends love it, but I don't get it. But hey, I like Mad Men. I don't even suggest it to anyone though because most find it boring (which I can fully understand).

The Wire
One of the best shows ever made. All I can say is try and stick with it. The show starts a little slow, but it gets really good.
Like GoT, there is a large cast and it's best to pay attention.
You can thank me later.

I couldn't get into the wire. Years ago my friend let me borrow season 1 and I couldn't even finish it :(

That sucks. It really is a great show. The show ruined police dramas for me forever.
I've never heard anyone who stuck with it say anything bad about it. The most common thing I've heard is "The Wire is the best show ever!".
Maybe this might convince you to try it again. #85
