Spence is awake, responsive, and expected to make a full recovery according to Lou DiBella. No timeline given but that's great news.

Beterbiev vs Gvozdyk was some good stuff. New lineal/WBC/IBF unified champion in Beterbiev.

This weekend looks insane.

Saturday at 2:00 PM eastern on DAZN:
Regis Prograis vs. Josh Taylor, WBA/IBF/Ring/WBC Diamond junior welterweight unification, World Boxing Super Series final
Dereck Chisora vs. David Price, 12 rounds, heavyweights
Ricky Burns vs. Lee Selby, 12 rounds, lightweights
Yves Ngabu vs. Lawrence Okolie, 12 rounds, cruiserweights

Saturday on Showtime, 9:00 PM eastern:
Erickson Lubin vs. Nathaniel Gallimore, 10 rounds, junior middleweights
Robert Easter Jr. vs. Adrian Granados, 10 rounds, junior welterweights
Frank Sanchez vs. Jack Mulowayi, 8 rounds, heavyweights
Vito Mielnicki Jr. vs. Marklin Bailey, 4 rounds, welterweights

Saturday on ESPN+, 6:30 eastern Undercards, 10:00 PM eastern main card:
Shakur Stevenson vs. Joet Gonzalez, 12 rounds, for vacant WBO featherweight title
Josh Greer vs. Antonio Nieves, 10 rounds, bantamweights
Mikaela Mayer vs. Alejandra Soledad Zamora, 10 rounds, female junior lightweights
Albert Bell vs. Frank De Alba, 10 rounds, junior lightweights

Prograis vs Taylor is the huge fight. Winner should get Jose Carlos Ramirez in an undisputed WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO/Ring/lineal title fight.

I'm picking Prograis to win. He's got the killer instinct.

We'll see if Shakur Stevenson will live up to the hype (and hopefully stop getting arrested) and when a world title.

Great fight by Josh Taylor.

Hopefully we get the Ramirez fight next. Taylor has the WBA/IBF/Ring and Ramirez has the WBC/WBO, and the lineal would be vacant. So it would be for the true undisputed title.

Taylor deserved that win, Prograis left it too late. Maybe he respected his adversary a little too much.

Where y'all at?

Canelo vs Kovalev coming up soon, but they said they won't start it until after the UFC main event is done

Have no way to watch it. It's 2:23 in the morning Athens time.
Unless there's some way to see it online

Does anyone have a live stream of the Masvidal Diaz fight? I'm more interested in that.

If you're willing to click through tons of bullshit pop ups you can google firstrowsports. You can usually find a stream there.

What are they waiting for? Something about some UFC crap to finish? The delay to the main event is ridiculous.

SAVAGE KO by Canelo in 11.

I don't think he will make it back down to 160. He should vacate his middleweight throne and probably stay at 168.

He beat Kovalev, but I don't know if he wants to fux with Beterbiev. I'd love to see it, though.

I could see Canelo fighting and beating Bivol at 175 or 168.

Callum Smith at 168 is a great fight.

Boring fight. Kovalev looked very old and showed no power. Almost like the fight was fixed.

If you're gonna fix a fight, you don't wait until the 11th and take a vicious KO like that. You find yourself a nice body shot to take a knee on in the 3rd and pretend you can't get up.

Kovalev is 36 and had already been KO'd twice going in, and was nearly KO'd in the 8th round of his last fight by a prospect. He's done.

This.

Dana White said:
Dana White says that MGM called him directly and said "the crowd at our boxing match is going nuts, can we please show the UFC main event on the big screen. He thought "holy shit" and agreed"
Per here.

A subdued kind of a fight. Had a very strange air to it. Only good thing about it was the ending. Can't get more conclusive than that.
I had it very close between the two up to that point. I haven't checked but the official cards must have had it tight as well.

I agree. Kov was just throwing jabs which made sense but at what point do you start throwing those heavy right hands. There was just something not right about this fight. I think alot of people sensed something was off. Kov looked like he was content going to decision yet his corner was saying that this is Vegas and no way will he win the decision.

Kov is done as a fighter and just needed one big last pay day. I dont blame him.

Kova' s punches looked unlike his usual power shots. Way more boring fight than it should've been.
