Guardian Heroes

I don't know anything about this one, but it's supposed to be good. I forgot to include this in the poll, so I can hand count the votes, just post up in the thread.

Guardians/Denjin Makai II
1995 Winkysoft/Banpresto

This is an arcade exclusive in a futuristic cyberpunk setting. There's a lot of variety here with eight characters to choose from and branching level paths. The game mechanics are deep with many moves and a nice combo system. Nicely detailed graphics, pretty good animation, and a healthy dose of Japanese wackiness. This is a really great game.

Cadillacs & Dinosaurs
1994 Capcom

Another arcade exclusive, but one of Capcom's finest. Excellent gameplay that is a refinement of the Final Fight formula with dash moves, knives and guns.

King of Dragons
1991 Capcom Arcade/SNES/PS2/Xbox/PSP

The first D&D themed beat'em up from Capcom. Early game so the mechanics are simple, but everything is well done. Good choice of characters, many levels, and your character levels up as the game progresses.

I'm not sure how Guardian Heroes would work as a BOTM. You only really see your experience/level between stages, and with the many branching paths I'm not sure how you would decide who got further.

I didn't realize that. I haven't actually played it before. I guess if it wins the vote we can figure out a tiebreaker somehow.

I don't think I ever saw C&D in the arcade as a kid. It'll be on the groupbuy multi that should be in later this week so I can give it a try.
