Very sad, RIP Bobby.

"Super Mario Bros (1993) – which he described in a 2007 Guardian interview as "the worst thing I ever did". LOL

Nope, SMB was still worse.

I didn't realize he was that old, test in peace.

I loved him in just about anything I saw him in. He was great in movies like Othello, Unleashed and the obvious choices WFRR and Hook.
RIP to a great actor who was a large part of my childhood.

Great actor especially in Mona Lisa. RIP
Cathy Tyson mate (used to watch Band of Gold as child... as a child!)

RIP Bob. Very amusing pairing with Jet Li in Danny the Dog.

he played a pretty tough commander (or at least I thought so) in Enemy at the Gates, I didn't expect it from him, and I was impressed. of course though Roger Rabbit was his masterpiece performance.

thx for the memories.

I knew he was suffering from Alzheimer's and he dropped out of acting. One other thing about SMB. Not only did he say it was the worst FUCKING thing he ever did but him and John Leguizamo would be HAMMERED on set because they couldn't take the husband and wife directors. Makes me want to watch it again just for that little fact to see what parts their buzzed in.

Also, I think he deserved a nod for Roger Rabbit. When I was a kid I thought he was from America because he played it so well. Also, to play off of just nothing for more then half of the movie and make it look like you believe there's a cartoon rabbit there was just amazing.

Sad to see the guy go, The Long Good Friday is probably one of the best crime movies around. He was a tremendous actor any way you slice it.

More than a nod, but yeah that was a fantastic performance. My favorite portrayal of an old-time detective.

RIP Bob. WFRR was one of my favorite movies growing up and it never gets old (Pretty much the difference between watching looney toons as a kid and as an adult). I remember watching the Mario Bros movie when I was in the 2nd grade. I don't think I could watch it today, but as a kid you just eat it up.
