I was searching all over the place for replacement blast city speakers ( part 130-5156-01 ) . Finally found some and I thought I'd share the info. 60$ per speaker box + shipping.

Play It! Amusements, Inc , T: 847-364-9787

When Sega decided to sell its spare parts division, some Sega employee bought it and created Play It! Amusements, Inc

Awesome, I will bookmark this in case I ever need to replace my speakers on my Blast City. And when you say "each" do you mean a pair for $60? Or 2 speakers for $120?

Too bad it's such a pain in the ass to get to the speakers themselves to replace them.

edited my post to clarify it.

I couldn't agree more about the process of swapping them out. I just had the damn monitor out a few weeks ago so I could tate the cab... oh well.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Personally, if I am going to take the effort to replace my speakers, I am going to replace both at the same time. But $120 plus shipping is a bit pricey in my book for 2 speakers. Oh well, if you gotta do it, you gotta do it.

codecrank, you sir are a god among men!
Does that part include the speaker grills as well? I may have to bite on this sooner than later. Also, I second or third that it's a pain in the ass to get to the speakers. Good looking out!

I ordered some replacement speakers from Sega via Betson, and No they do not come with the grills.

I would like to do that, but it looks kinda unusual. When I get my replacement unit, I'll open it up and document the content on the AO wiki.

I wonder how much they sell them for, and how much you have to buy minimum.

I'll try to pop the tweeter our tomorrow.

Enjoy !
