Let me see if my PM to reclaimer shows up here lol.

Its weird, the model number is FAI-3A, you can see it in this pic,20140518_121341.jpg

But when I look that up on walmart the product that comes up isnt the same, but this one looks the same, they may have changed the model number

Either way, just head to the car stereo area , any line out adapter should work, you will want something that take in wire and has RCA out. The Jammaboards adapter has the stereo out on top of it and you will need that J2 cable also. This board also gets rid of needing a seperate switch button.

http://www.jammaboards.com/store/neogeo-mvs-to-jamma-inline-adapter-mvs2jamma.html

Once you have it all hooked you will have to play with the volume on the MVS board and the volume adjusters on the line out adapter, you will know if you have to much coming out of the MVS board if you get some muddiness or static.

does anyone know what kind of screws are needed for the bottom plate?
mine were rusted into the sockets, and took a lot of work to get out, so i'd like to replace them.

Yes. The steel base, the screws that go all around the outside edge and screw through the bottom and into either side of the shell

I am interested in those screws as well. That would be "E" in this picture:

E is just a different style self tapping screw. 2 of my local hardware store even carry that style.

Yup.

For an additional reference, since HD/Lowes has limited metric options... I found just about every metric replacement for my Egret 2 that seemed to have a missing one of every screw/bolt when I was restoring it. That goes for those hard to find winged thumb bolts too. http://www.mcmaster.com/ Good selection of stainless hardware too if you prefer that. I'm sure they'll have what you need for your Blast if you can't find it at one of the big box home improvement stores, dgame.

I ended up finding what i needed at home depot of all places.
phillips head #10 3/4"
works just fine :)

now on to my next question,
i attempted to repair my speakers, and now they're much louder, but i can't get any actual audio from my games; just a loud buzzing.
i completely disassembled my cab to clean it out, are there any areas i should double check?
If i hook up a cps2 board via the RCA jacks, it sounds great.
if i switch the speaker connection and try to run audio straight over jamma, it's no good.

EDIT:
problem solved, the speaker wiring on the interior of my cab was trashed, had to redo a bit

Stupid question of the day , just want to check before I ruin something. I got new Marquees and I assume on the below Marquee holder that I am supposed to remove the blue peice that is behind the window and put the new one in its place? I ask because it feels like that blue one that says Display Card Space seems to be glued on there?

yes, it's held on by double sided tape. Chances are, it's been on there so long you're going to peel the image off the parts of the place holder that is suck to the tape.

it hurts, but it's kinda unavoidable. You may be able to get past it by using lighter fluid or goo gone.

Ahh thats what I was worried about :( Ill try some goo gone on it. When you put the new one in does static just hold it on?

personally, after removing the blast maquee, I use a greasy liquid like goo gone ( NOT GOOF OFF, that shit will melt the plastic ) to vaccum stick the new marquee on TOP of the transparent section. no tape needed and it's sharper.

I would be worried goo gone might eat the marquee over time :O

Anyone know where I can get one of these marquees? I have the (IMO) very ugly "WINNER" marquee setup on my Blast, and hate it. Looking to get the normal kind for sure.

While I have the cabinet up, might as well ask this as well. I have a inward bend at the bottom of my picture on the Blast Monitor.EDIT: The same bend is not at pronounced on the right side, so the top has a slight bend inward and the bottom is lined up, its just not as large a bend. So basically

(red line added for clarity)

So the picture being offset is convergence as well? I knew the color separation was caused by convergence. Well I do have some tabs, so I guess one day I need to get off my ass and pull the monitor hehe.

If 'm' is the type of screw that holds joystick mounting plates to CPs...then I need a handful in a bad way.

Ace doesn't have them, so I'm assed out until I find an extra hour to run to my nearest big box hardware store.

Could also be that your yoke is misaligned.

This, & good luck w/ that. I wouldn't touch a yoke, using someone else's hand. I'd learn to live w/ the lean. Jack those rings up...and you may as well have dropped an egg on them.
