Any of you guys running 246/256 in your cabinets. How are you getting button 3 and 4? I'd figure I'd ask now so I can figure out how to do it. Before I try to set it up

3 should be on the JAMMA edge. 4 is on the extra connector on the NAMCO IO or appropriate kick harness pins if you use a CAPCOM IO.

I prefer to run my 246 in a net city since 6+ buttons are mapped on the JVS IO with no extra work. I have tested my 246 with a CAPCOM IO, and 1-3 are on the jamma harness, 4-6 on the CPS2 kick harness.

Perfect. I have 2 capcom io but one is in a blast for my vf ft setup. I can use the 2nd for my t5. I have a net city but it's only a 1l6b panel.

Yup I had a friend make one for all 5 of my 256. Once I get back from overseas I'll have to post a new picture of my blast running my 3 fighters.

Looks like I will be getting a Blast finally. :)

Besides this thread, is there somewhere to read up on how to get this beast set up for MVS, 360, Dreamcast, PC ?

I'm a complete noob and this will be my first cab.

mvs is simple as long as you have 001 loom, just grab a 1-slot and your good to go. For 360 and DC, you will need a box to run your controls through the jamma, (Lemony Vengeance can make these) for video, you can get a vga cable for each system and plug it directly in to the monitor. Depending on what chassis your cab will have (manual or auto-sync) you may have video issues running consoles or a pc in there. more on that after you figure out what you've got.

Anyone have a spare Blast monitor bolt stud? This would be one of the 4 mounting studs that you'd loosen in order to rotate the monitor. 300wins and I...well, let's just say we had an "issue" last weekend. :lolz:

I need the bolt/stud itself and maybe 1 of the nuts. Thanks!

wow.. you guys might want to rotate the monitor BEFORE you pour the drinks :P

looks like you may have to get creative and build a replacement. ACE hardware should have the bolts, washer and nuts, you could weld a washer in place and file down the sides.

mjmr25 might still have the shell from that blast he parted.

good luck !

Yes, no alcohol involved in this. Who's dumb ass idea was it at Sega to have these bolts NOT welded, but have 2 bolts turning the same way on both side? Urggg, so annoying.
