There is an astro city club. There is a blast city club. Well shit. I'm an american I like my cabs unnecessarily large and inefficiently sized. No love for us big red owners? F-it. Big red owners- lets see what you got! I love these big goofy cabs!

Here is my 6 slot. It'll be back in my game room shortly- just had some moving around to do.

Those Sanwas look really slick, nicely done! Personally, I'd never get rid of the bat tops on a woody in favor of Sanwas or Seimitsus, but I can definitely understand why others would.

you know I really like american sticks, but only if they are from the 90's, the quality of my favorite stick, the super joystick is garbage now. A nice american stick is totally cool, but you won't be getting one new unless it's a competition stick from IL, and I never liked those.

this cab needed new sticks BAD, and I just won't risk getting garbage from day one parts again. A friend of mine actually ordered a few super joysticks with me for his cab, I installed them for him myself, from the very begining one wouldn't hit one corner and it felt terrible, physically the stick appeared identical to the good one, but we had to bend the lever on one of the switches just to get it to actually hit the corner....it still felt like shit... but it was then playable.

moral of the story, american sticks were good, but I wouldn't buy new ones. Besides, alot of snk fighters were definitely developed with square gate sticks in mind, I can't do andy's shoulder move in FFS in combos at all on the old american sticks, but now hitting the corners is effortless so I can easily combo standing D to shoulder (downback,forward A)

I know, right? Plus that little construction paper circle gave it a nice finished look.

Also electricgrave: i love the idea for casters on these things. could make life easier- maybe i should make a little 4 wheel dolly and set the machine in it for easy moving.


Also here is some of my cabs insides. I like how the label stickers have stood the test of time in a commercial machine. I should be careful- this may end up pornographic before i know what's good for me.

cool, my innards look about the same, though my monitor remote board or whatever it's called is just kinda floating around the bottom near the switches. I didn't even realize it was probably at one time mounted somewhere... anyone with my cab know where it was mounted? I'm not even sure if the wires are long enough to have it mounted by the pcb somewhere.

Nice idea for a club... Love the Big Red, it was my first cab and started me on the slippery slope... Selling all my old console stuff for more cabs. Pics soon....

Thx, that pic is about 2/3 years ago, I have just have the xl left now and 2 mini's. I'll try to get a good pic soon. The far left I sold online, but the middle I sold to a friend that still has it.

im torn on the image size- on one hand it looks great small.

on the other hand- USA USA USA! big and inefficently sized is what big red ownership is all about! i may or may not bring back the big one for me. if it ain't bigger than the blast city or astro city club's banners, then how do they know that our club is better?
