Good to hear. It seemed to me at the time everything pointed back to her and the way she handled after-sale situations that weren't 100% straight forward. As you've mentioned, 100% ebay feedback doesn't come from a business where everyone is out to screw you around and it's good to see someone is keen to fix your rep.

I understand about the feedback thing, I dont ever give negs because I know some ass is just going to hit me back, and in my book, its very important for us to maintain 100%. For the ebayer I hit, Im sure he/she could care less, being they were non payers anyway.

Also, as far as email, I sent you your tracking information the day i mailed the item. The item was mailed within 3 days of auctions end, I dont know what else you needed, but I email tracking to every single auction buyer. From my experience, this info is more important to buyers than 100 emails saying "it was shipped, expect it soon" - tracking is piece of mind. You know its definitely shipped because tracking doesnt lie, like many sellers are when you get the 'hey, shipped this today" email.

The wonderswan, don't worry about it, like I said I'm anal but it's not really worth doing a return over. I'll take a look at what you have posted up and I'll let you know how I'd like to take you up on your offer.

I can certainly understand having other priorities in your life. I have them myself. I was referring to the email I had sent you about finding some other games for the wonderswan.

Now that I understand better how you work I feel a lot better working with you. It's always good understanding the human side behind the business.

but it only took 1 day 18 hours to get to me so it was as good as you can get

he was good to his word and i got free UPS courier shipping - if you dont mind me asking how much did that cost???

anyway feedback has been posted on the forum and i would appreciate it if you can leave some for me

very very impressed - now should i buy that saturn??????

Awesome news busta. I am definently starting to change the way I feel about strait fromjapan.

Keep up the good work guys! Seriously, I'm really glad and appreciative straitfromjapan took immediate action and response to this situation. It shows profressionalism on their part.

Buster, if youre interested in that Saturn deal, I sweetened the pot on that auction nicely earlier. I thought we had some real lame games on there, so I added 5 more - good titles. I also added a arcade style fighter stick. I did raise the price, but same type shipping to the UK to you I think more than makes that deal worth it. :make_fac:

BB, that is a SWEET looking JP Saturn. I bought a modded JP Saturn on eBay a while back for $125 with one game and no arcade stick, so I'd say that is a pretty fair price for a nice package deal like that. Condition looks great. And I gotta say, a Japanese Saturn is second only to Neo-Geo in terms of 2-D heaven, IMO. Considering the deal you'll get on shipping, I say BUY IT!

@straitfromJapan: It's very, very cool to see a prominent seller like yourself go out of your way to make good deals and patch up what had become a bad reputation (at least on these boards).

I have a question about one of your current auctions- is the item listed here (King of Fighters '94 Re-Bout and Neo CD style pad for PS2) new or used? I'm interested in that and your Cyberbots listing, real tempted to take you up on that free overnight shipping offer.

we stated that is wasnt working to Dave on several occasions. He just wouldnt take no for an answer. It was kinda one of those "dont know what you lost til its gone" things. He then stated hed take more stuff and comply better, but the thing was, we were dedicating so much leg time to him, we were missing out on getting Saturn, PS, SFC, etc etc.

If you saw the movie "DodgeBall" - when Vince Vaughn had the Average Joes Gym paperwork stuffed in a closet, thats how invoicing with Dave was. So to end a sales relationship with him was a paperwork nightmare. He swore we owed him $170, my partner swore because shipping was always 1 load behind, that Dave owed us shipping fees.

So thats where it ended. What hurts is that Dave is slandering us like this. Dave, who sat in Fort Wayne, telling us what Neo carts should cost even though my partner, IN JAPAN is texting me from the STORE AISLES!

Also, the guy who said we shipped a Dragon Quest sword game by just slapping a shipping sticker on the product, get a life. I doubt many of you believe that, but just to confirm, thats ridiculous. Packed 'em myself, they fit nicely into a USPS T-shirt box.

Im also disappointed that some people who were happy with an item all of a sudden found "sun fading" or "crappy shipping". I realize that good news isnt a story, so maybe to keep the ball rolling...........

I thank the many who stated that they were happy with us. You wouldnt know it from this thread, but we have 100% feedback on eBay. That is since April 2002. Sure, weve had some negatives, but because we acted to resolve the issues, every single one was retracted.

I am in school, I don't have a lot of time right now and I didn't see that anyone posted to this.

The only reason I nitpicked on a few items is because the conditions were not as I stated.

On top of that... there were countless communication problems in the 3-way conversation... which is why I wanted to deal with Jason direct because I KNEW things would get messed up.

I bought EVERY ITEM that I asked for. I don't know how you can say that I changed my mind. The only things I changed where items that I asked IF you could get.... and when you said yes... here is the price.... I couldn't pay the asking price. BUT I didn't say "yes, get this item for me." I asked for prices. You can't expect me to pay $120 for a Breakers......and $300 for an iron clad. Hell... I told tina, "$300? I sell them for $200-210." Thats what I get them at. I bought EVERY item you got for me. In fact, I paid for items I didn't even get. MAgical Drop 2 / Mark of the wolves AES comes to mind... as well as many other Neo CD's.


Yes, as I stated, I sent a lot of emails. That was mainly how Tina wanted to do the transaction at first. I was doing things as you guys wanted them. Then you guys wanted me to compile lists... so I did. That wasn't good enough. Jason said, "we'll just give you a list to choose from." I was ok with that. And I will also admit that Tina and I didn't get along... especially with the 2 week communication lapses. I wouldn't hear anything from you all in weeks... Even after I made my 1st payment. I didn't hear ANYTHING till I found out Jason's Email address and started writing that I am going to be filing police reports and the like. I forget the actual amount... but it was $1000+ and I didn't hear ANYTHING for a total of 21-25 days until I heard from Jason.

And you know what...... I wasn't tell you what Neo Carts should/should not cost. I WAS TELLING YOU WHAT I WOULD PAY FOR THEM. IF you can't get them for that... then so be it. I'm not giving $300 for "Iron Clad"..... nor $125 for breakers when they sell NORMALLY @ $90.

I am not trying to be the bad guy.... but I feel things are way wrong. I have been waiting for a refund since last July (2004). Until I get that $170 back, I will be filing police reports.. FBI reports.... and what ever else it takes to get that money back.

No, I did not read all the responses to this thread.. you know my email address.. its the same as always. If you really want to work this out you should have contacted me.... A LONG TIME AGO.... my Email address is still the same, you want to work this out.... contact me.

but dave (Not taking sides) if you have messed him about with sales and only taken X amount of what you asked him to get you, i remember somebody doing that to you a long time ago (chriz) and you claimed he owed you money as the games depreciated in value

I don't drag people through the dirt for no reason. I stated for months that I was going to take action.... and I did. I have complaints set up and ready to do via the police, FBI, etc. Do you think I am going to go through with that when my complaint would be just something I am taking out on another person.

I stated in the beginning there were faults on both sides... but I never had product that I said "Get for me" that I did not buy. I am very serious when it comes to this because I do not screw people over. I never will.

Other people here had the same problems and things are only getting fixed now.... which that is good. I am glad people are getting their problems resolved.

Which is why I asked you AGAIN if I could just deal direct WITH YOU, EXCEPT PAY TINA so she could have her cut.... which is where the problem started. I am glad people here got things worked out. At least something good came about (which is the whole reason I made this thread). Hopefully people will see through the crap you are spewing. But hey... if this is what it took to finally get people their items/refunds.. then so be it. Hopefully this has stopped future problems so people get what they buy as well

many people on this thread defended us. There were some totally outlandish claims that I suspect are competition or board trolls screwing around. the others on here who did have legit beefs Ive admitted as much. Ive also addressed them.
Did you ask... where did he get those negatives from?

AND where they before the negatives could be mutually withdrawn? As you see... you have a lot of feedback that has been mutually withdrawn.

1 guy gave me a negative because I shipped him his item... and he gave me a negative because he said he emailed me that he didn't want the product anymore and I shipped it to him.
Another was a 0 feedback idiot that used bin and left a negative. Ebay wouldn't fight it.
The other 2 was from a guy that bought an item.... had a bad phone number and bad shipping address. He bought another similar item off ebay and said that I was reselling his item... and gave me a negative for that as well.
None of which are my fault.

Oh yeah... I am not pissed off because you stopped dealing with me. I have much better contacts in Japan now.

Its funny because you wanted to work out a settlement in september... you sent me items on a list to pick from. I gave you some other items that I was interested in as well... and then you never wrote back again.

Like I said.. I am filing my reports.. and done with this. At least most of the people got their problems fixed.... which is the important thing. I will not compromise on the settlement.

I have 2 CPA's in the family if you would like me to pass it on :D

The US is largely a free trade country, no? they only charge when customs want to. And normally imports are not charged.
Whatever your point is. Our business has nothing to hide.... we play by the book... nothing is done under the table. We have to pay Inventory tax, use tax.. etc on down the line.
The reports will be filed.

I've just bin'd and paid for a neo geo cd from these guys. So far, they're making good on their offer to me. Dave, I know I've dealt with you in the past and I hope that my participation here doesn't sour our relationship, as you are also an excellent seller in my book.
