Well my friend and I just got through playing some Mario Kart DS through wifi and we had a blast. I really enjoyed it, but as fun as versus games are, I want to play some co-op games.

So my only question is, what are some good co-op games for the DS? I'm looking for something beyond what Castlevania DS offers. Maybe some sort of RPG or game we could play separately and then go online and use what we accomplished by ourselves together?

Oh yea, and it has to be a good game.:D

I am a huge DS fan but I can only think of a couple offline (co-op) adventure games that are decent. I can't think of any that are online as well.

Final Fantasy CC is really good offline and Children of Mana is average. There is a new Gauntlet game coming in August that is suppose to support online play.

Edit...Dungeon Explorer came out a while back and I think that has online play. However, I passed on this game because I read that is was pretty average and the multiplayer was very limited.

I still can't believe nobody's ever fully tunneled the DS yet. If someone would get that figured out already, then games like Children of Mana and FFCC would be playable online.

This guy got the closet and he hasn't updated in over 2 years:

Nobody really seems to talk about it anymore either. I guess it's a dead concept.

Edit: Apparently he updated this site back in November 2006, saying that he would continue the project some time in 2007, but he hasn't.

Yea, I saw some videos for that Dungeon Explorer and it looks painfully average. I counted only 3 or 4 games that had co-op and none of them seemed good.

Now that would be amazing. Just tunnel it via wi-fi. If only I had to know how.:oh_no:
