I picked up a PSP back in June and I've really been enjoying it. So far I've picked up: Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, Darkstalkers Chaos Tower, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Guilty Gear Judgement, Metal Slug Collection, Ridge Racers, Warhammer 40k Squadron Command, Rock Band Unplugged (came with the PSP). I'm going to pick up Tekken 5 DR at some point but I really don't know what else is worth looking into. So, recommend some games for me.

I've been playing Gundam Battle Universe like crazy for weeks, which is a great game if you have any interest in that kind of thing. Probably not so much if you don't.

Exit is a very fun puzzle game you can find for about $5.

And you cannot miss Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins. Great.

The one game I've had a problem with on PSP is Tekken 5 DR.
When I traded up to the 2k model from the 1k model, it had some tied-to-system part of the game save. So, it refused to let me keep all the fake money and unlocked videos/modes I'd sunk time into the game playing for.

Tekken 6 is on the Comming Soon list from Namco.
I'm hoping they don't pull the same memory card tie with it.

Guilty Gear Accent Core + may stand out for you if you enjoy choose-your-own-adventure books without the ability to play the "I didn't take my hand of the page, it doesn't count" rule or being K.O.ed at the last round you needed to win to get an alternate ending for a character in story mode.

Oddly, I've taken a liking to the Lego series games. Star Wars: The Original Trilogy is fun -- though a little glitchy. Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones both look pretty neat.

I recommend them for the fact that you get to use lego bricks without the risk of stepping on a small block inadvertently while walking barefoot on the carpet, to spite your best efforts of finding every brick to put away.

Other than those, it's hard to recommend games now that haven't been recommended before.

Deja vous all over again.

Alot of the stuff I listed in the cheap section can probably be found used for like 10bucks or so. Patapon 2, and star ocean are new, but they have a NEW price of 19.99$ which is very fair.

If you want to get Monster Hunter be sure you have friends to play it with. It's purely a mutli-player game. It's no fun playing it alone.

Some more games:

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
Crimson Gem Saga
Gitaroo Man Lives!
Mega Man Powered Up!
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
Power Stone Collection
Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins
Phantasy Star Portable
Crush
Jeanne D'arc
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Daxter
Lumines I & II

DJ Max Portable series, there's 4 import versions, but Fever (the domestic release) is a good starting point.

Initial D Street Stage is good if you like the arcade version.

Patapon is pretty damn fun, get that, or the sequel I guess (I'm still playing through the first one).

Crush >>> the entire rest of the PSP library combined.

And this is coming from someone who holds the PSP library in much higher regard than most.

I really enjoyed Metal Gear Solid Portable OPS. If you love the MGS franchise you are going to love this game. It takes place after Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Another game I enjoy was Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Great racing game and a very good soundtrack to go along with it. Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold just to name a few Artist in the game.

Here are some other great games that I love

Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. Good all around shooter

Both Grand Theft Auto's Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories.

Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters

Daxter

I love the first one as well. I've never played the second one, it never got here to the US, I'd like to get the UK one 'cause is all in english, have you played it yet? Any thoughts?

Isn't LocoRoco 2 a download title here? I know the demo is out at least, so I'd imagine it's out here too in some form or another.
