Be it for a fave box set, features, AC-3/DTS soundtrack, whatever, whats the fave amongst your lot.

Mine was my Japan Howard the Duck until the world of DVD spoiled it for me recently, its even in 4:3 P&S haha, so probably Prince & the revolution live, such a boss show. For pic quality got an early 80's ABC: Mantrap recently on 625line pal, i was a bit shocked how sharp it was compared to most of my modern discs! No chapters, or digital sound tho!

JPN Pulp Fiction.

Only b/c when I got it I paid $200 for it almost 6 months or so before it came out here in the US, but everyone who came over to my house always wanted to watch it since it was still unique then.

It's probably not worth shit now, but it has a lot of nostalgic value to me still.

jpn Transformers LD. Paid 20 for it and came with both english and japanese tracks. Japanese track sucked.

Also have some Rurouni Kenshin LDs. One that features just fights from the series, the other was the movie (paid 5 bucks).

What I should have done back then when Transformers was purchased, was to buy all the Star Wars LDs. They were being blown out at $10 bucks each.

Oh I got tons of Laserdiscs..The best for audio and picture is probably the Phantom menace LD wth DD5.1 EX surround. The sound will blew you away. I really like the criterion collection edition of Ghostbusters and Brazil.

I remember having fight Club on LD, one of the last LDs ever produced in japan, that had really good audio and picture.

I only ones I care about are my anime, Star Wars and Transformers laserdiscs. I looking forward to receiving a few laseractive games in the near future.

The LDs I have that are valuable to me are a bunch of Kurosawa flicks and various old samurai movies/series I've got.

Ironically, that's one of the games that I'm waiting for. Is there a code or something to make Ghost Rush! fun?

I cherish some of my LaaserDiscs still... my most favorite are The Beach JPN, Titan AE JPN, Super Defense Fortress Macross English dubbed, 8MM JPN, DTS Gate to the Minds Eye, The Matrix, The Wizard, and Captain Supermarket JPN. I have a ton more that I still love like all my DTS LDs but the ones I just mentioned would be the ones I most likely would never get rid of. I also love the gatefold edition of House by the Cemetery by Lucio Fulci and my Return of the Living Dead LD. :mr_t:

Oh and yes, I love my LaserActive games also. Triad Stone is great but my favorite is Road Prosecuter and Hyperion.

Natural Born Killers box set...really nice stuff.

Then again...the letterbox Star Wars trilogy is why I even own the player in the first place.

I loved Natural Born Killers... great movie and great box set for sure. I also own the Star Wars Trilogy boxed set, I bought it just for the case that the discs came in (got it for $35, lol) then I threw the discs in the trash along with that book about the guy that made the movie as I cant stand Star Wars anymore nowdays. :P I now use that lil star wars box set to hold all my favorite japan made LDs. :) Damn shame as I enjoyed Star Wars when I was like 8 though until I saw Starship Troopers by Paul Verhoven. Starship Troopers became my all time fav scifi movie...that along with blade runner.

The Wizard

Beavis & Butthead The Movie

The first season of Sailor Moon (My brother and I were going to split the cost of all the seasons, but that was just crazy talk. We never even watched most of the ones we had because we'd already seen them. That's maybe the only anime anything I can confirm paying any money for.)

I guess the best LDs that I have owned in my life will be the DTS version of Jurassic Park, I was totally blown away by the awesome ass kicking sound. Besides that, next runner up will be Dragonheart.

I own the japanese one also, its just that the english one (with the british voice overs) is more rare and is more collectable. The japanese one is more enjoyable to watch with its digital surround sound and chapter search. Sadly the english dubbed one is mono only and analog sound with 0 chapters IIRC. An old LaserDisc indeed.
