What is a "beat-em-up magazine"? o_O;;

U mean like boxing or martial arts magazine?
Or like beat-em-up games? Because there are lots of the former and none of that latter (that I know of).

Some people differentiate between fighters and beat-'em-ups. I consider Streets Of Rage 2, Burning Fight, Final Fight, etc., to be beat-'em-ups (pretty much my favourite genre). I do not think there are any magazines devoted to either one of those specifically, at least not here in the U.S.

I want to beat up anyone involved in the creation of 'Esquire' 'Country Living' or 'Good Housekeeping'... Does that count?

Throw in GQ and Martha Stewart's Living, and I think we can work out a deal.

There are many "Mook" magazine covering ALL fighting games in Japan.Technical,Combos and Gameplay etc. I found a site on the net called "Mai's Place" which has some(can't remember url).

Gunsmith has scans from some of them.Perhaps he will put them up here soon/ish.

In the meantime checkout these (not from japan mag)...http://shinryoga.hypermart.net/main.htm
