My bass shakers finally arrived, and they came with the amplifier made for the shakers. The problem is, unfortunately, that it seems that the amplifier was meant to be used to hook up the shakers in a car. On the back of the amplifier are 2 spots for connections -- the ground and the +12V. With a car I would just hook up the ground to the car chassis and I could get the +12V from the car battery...but I want to try these in my room. How can I power it? Also, how can I safely ground it? The manual only has instructions on how to install the shakers/amplifier with a car. This is what the rear of the unit looks like:

Here are the specs in the manual.

Arcade PSU?
PC PSU (Check the ratings)
Bring in a Car Battery (use - terminal cuz that's the same as the chasis ground)

Also, run a bridge between the +12 and the remote on....

I've used car amps on my MAME PC..... Ran it right off the PC's PSU... Sounded a lil dirty tho.
