Update:

"Hi Will,

As mentioned in my email, Shawn's surgery went off without a problem and he is resting uncomfortablly (he hates morphine more than the pain so he is going without, crazy guy). The surgery turned out to be minimal (if you call about a 9" cut with a few feet of intestine take out minimal). He is as tough a guy as they come. Thanks for forwarding that info to the forum.
