The cartridge converts the audio to ADPCM-B so that it can be played back by cartridge systems. There's only one channel. What was the reason that CD games played in mono with the NeoSD Pro?

Yeah, Game Sack made a big issue of it in his video. He wanted an audio out from the cartridge for CD quality audio. I imagine it's possible -- probably easier to just include an mp3/wav player in the NeoSD Pro than have it convert to ADPCM-B. It does have a 3.5mm jack, but it doesn't seem to be used for anything.Danke. So short of them having an audio out from the cartridge to splice back into the L-R audio cable (fat chance) that’s not going to happen. Very sad times indeed.
Is this how you enVISIONed ROMs when you first joined? Gotta go fast?I would be interested in a home system cart as well. Faster load times would be great news. Might pick up an MVS as well
I really was surprised at how slow the NeoSD was at switching games. It's still an awesome product, but man, compared to other flash carts its just super slow.Is this how you enVISIONed ROMs when you first joined? Gotta go fast?
I'd buy, ANY way to offer a port for Kizuna Encounter 4 player?
just curious how it works and if it could be incorporated, would also make cart even more marketablePretty sure 4p Kizuna is something that happens with a special mobo or bios outside the cart.
If you're curious, here it is:just curious how it works and if it could be incorporated, would also make cart even more marketable

Newest 4 Player Setup at home. Kizuna Encounter Super Tag Battle Special Version.
So after a week trying to get the full 4 player enabled on this interface thanks to some useful information from a few dudes on here I finally got it working 100%. This fully changes up Kizuna Encounter and makes it soo much more fun to play! Very happy and fortunate to have this amazing piece...www.neo-geo.comThe Neo-FTC1B? Kizuna 4P PCB?
I posted this in another thread but thought it might be a good general discussion topic on it's own. Anyone Own or ever see one of these? I found this on a Yahoo auction over 1 year ago. I did not buy it at the time and now thinking back on it can not think why I did not. It looks like it...www.neo-geo.com
I'm pretty sure that was just an idea and never a confirmed reality.I thought I remembered NeoBomberman working on reproducing the board but can't seem to find any threads at the moment.
There was also some work going on over here
Neo geo Kizuna Encounter 4p board
I know of the NTM repro but has there been any work put into a more widely available repro board? Is this on anyones radar as a project at all?www.arcade-projects.com
I mostly believe that, BUT am curious if that can be bridged by a good coder, it just seems there has to be a way to emulate that support, surely the code is written into every Kizuna cart, I need to research whats in the special pcb and what the connections look like, again just daydreamingYeah not possible to do 4P Kizuna with just a cart.

Yep. @gargoyle7 FYI you don't need a special cart or special board. The Unibios has cheats that will let you access the game code and play the whole thing on a normal system. It's not even that interesting. But why?
You can already do 4P mode on a regular system with 2P control panel thanks to Razoola and his Unibios.
Code for the multitap adapters was added to the unstable Neo Geo core for the MiSTer a few months ago.I mostly believe that, BUT am curious if that can be bridged by a good coder, it just seems there has to be a way to emulate that support, surely the code is written into every Kizuna cart, I need to research whats in the special pcb and what the connections look like, again just daydreaming
Bullshit liesUpdate 5/19: Personally verifying all PCBs and cases for the first batch insertion. Making sure that optimal goobscent is applied by slotting into ass crack, Kernow to report and verify goobscent once international test batch received in UK.
when you figure that shit out - let us know.Got a shipping notification this morning, things seem to take a week to get to me from California these days, so we'll see, but hopefully sometime next week. Guess I should start looking at how to load some files on an SD card.
