Spent the morning out in middle of nowhere Giles County, Tennessee looking for spooky old graveyards and found two that were abandoned and slowly being reclaimed by nature. I didn't venture far into either because I wore shorts like a dumbass and there are bugs and snakes everywhere.
The "road" leading into this one was rough. I don't think anyone had been up there in a while. Had to move some small tree limbs out of the way and use 4WD to get up the hill. This one was legit kinda scary. Quiet enough that all I could hear was my tinnitus. No birds or anything. That and the remoteness of it was just very unnerving so I got out of there quick but maybe I'll go back and get better pictures sometime.
The second one I found felt less abandoned and less threatening. Almost all of the headstones were completely eroded though. I spotted a few that hadn't been weathered away and they were early 20th century burials so I'm assuming most of the burials here are a lot older than that.
Hella spoopy vibes on this Halloween from this Beff to youse!
