Is anyone else extremely happy to see Atari back making games under their own name again? I mean, even if it isn't the same Atari of the 70s and early 80s, it's still Atari and they still have awesome /|\ logo that rules all.

I for one hope they do well in their comeback and get to making some new kick-ass games.

Well, from what I understand its owned by another company that's masquerading around with the bought name. Last time I checked it was Mircroprose.

Hell no. Atari can die die die.

Atari didn't make any good games anyway. Except for maybe like Adventure everything else worth playing were made by other companies. Atari can suck my testes!!!

Yeah, Atari made some classic stuuf, but most of their productions were absolute trash. Atari of old reminds me of today's Sony, don't you think??

Yeah, I know it's a different company. But it's still techincally Atari. I'm talking about Atari as a name, and even as a company, even if they're totally different.

I dunno, I've always loved Atari since I was a little kid. I was also a big supporter of the Atari Jaguar when it came out, which I still think is way under-rated.

Also, Splashdown is a pretty good game! I wouldn't buy it for $50, but it's PERFECT for a 5 day rental at Blockbuster.
