I got the iPhone 13 Pro and it was like kinda sucky. There was no real apparent improvement over the 11 Pro that I was coming from, honestly. I actually took it back and got the Pixel 6 Pro. It's pretty cool, but the battery seems to die quickly. That's my only gripe, I guess.

I had a pixel 6 but it was mad defective and crashed every hour (at least). Ended up going back to Samsung... and my only complaint is battery lol. My iPhone 8 holds a charge longer.

I doubt we even have 5G coverage in Upper Michigan's frigid wastelands. 🤣 I'm not noticing a huge performance difference, but, it does seem somewhat better. AT&T is my carrier.

My phone is 8 years old now and the only thing is that the battery isn't great.
Just replace the battery! Lots of tutorials on ifixit or alot of hardware stores will replace it fairly cheaply

I have a Motorola G7 Power.
I like it and will probably stay with Motorola for my next phone. Previously used HTC phones.
Been on T-Mobile, sprint, & at&t... They all suck.
Currently still with tmo, considering a switch but no idea to which carrier.
Got a new tablet tho, seriously thinking about going back to a dumb phone now, so long as it does hotspot I won't feel like I'm losing anything.

My service is shutting down 3G this month and it's time for me to upgrade...
Thinking about going the galaxy route this time and not looking back...

Even 4G is a big upgrade over 3G.
It's hard to get a phone with a good camera, that's not a smart phone (touchscreen). With phones these days, it's hard to even turn them off fully, you have to deliberately do it.
I've tried Apple, but it had one control button (instead of two that Android phones have), so it was hard to do everything on it with one button.

3G is still alive and well here so come over ya geriatric bastards!
3G is almost dead in Australia. Crap reception & reliability. But that's because they're gradually shutting down the network.

I used to do the every 2 year phone refresh that Canadian telecoms scam us into doing but I've stopped at my Samsung Galaxy S10 for the time being, feels like "enough" phone for what I do with it and I don't see the benefit of upgrading anymore. Also feels good to not be tethered by the device to a carrier and just pay for the actual service.
Will stick with it until it gets clobbered or Google makes it unbearably slow with an update

Been using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for about 5 years. I'm on my 2nd one. Charging port got jacked up on my last one, screen would flicker, and the screen was cracked. Even with a good case, I'm still pretty hard on my phones. I'm not doing any cpu intensive stuff so no need for the latest and greatest. I use my phone for paying bills, browsing web, and youtube. Really no need for the 5g at the moment. Maybe if this one breaks in the future, I'll upgrade to a newer 5g model.

I'm also using a Motorola G7 - I like it. Better than any shitty iPhone I've had. I ditched AT&T years back (was with them since 1996 or so) and went with T-Mobile because i was traveling to Europe and they didn't charge roaming over there for data.

Stuck with T-Mobile because I have a place in the mountains and I need to use hotspot for work and they have great coverage for everywhere I go.

I'll definitely be grabbing the Motorola Edge coming out with the Snapdragon 8. So yeah, +1 for Motorola phones.

My old one is still going strong on ios 15 - gave it to a family member. Only reason I later got the 6s was for the larger screen.

I'm still using an iPhone 6s, it does everything I need an iPhone to do. I would probably be using an Android running LineageOS if didn't still need iPod functionality on a phone.

Well, I do keep around my iPhone 4S for jailbreak related things, I guess I could move on from iPhone as my main phone....

I'm really not sure what I'll do when the 6S is no longer supported, it's all I need - still runs iOS 15, has a headphone jack, unlocks with a finger (not face), has the 'home screen' button on the screen side of the phone, camera is good enough for my needs.

If I stick with iPhones, anything I get next will feel like a downgrade.

Currently rocking a final version LG Velvet. Big LG fan in general and the phone is nice other than build quality, spiderwebbed the back on a drop from maybe a foot, case saved it. Functionality is good, screen is good.

I've had bad luck w Samsung. When the Velvet needs replacing gonna go Pixel.

@BIG BEAR have you considered Consumer Cellular?
Those commercials are a trip, especially the one woman with the boston accent.."Everybody should go with consumer cellular.." That tickles me to no end!! It reminds me of a buddy I had that codded for the C=64 from Boston...
Anyway, I'm getting offered a FREE Motorola MOTO G pure just to stick around with this company that's shutting off 3G service the 31st so I'm going to go with that and seee how that works out, Looks really good and will suit my needs.

I was stuck with a busted screen iphone 7 for two years till I changed carriers and got the pixel 6 pro. I am pretty happy with it, but I used it more for watching youtube videos in bed than calling people.
