Aero Fighters 3 AES was just exclusive, period.

Mainly to those too stupid to see a scam, and with no self-control over their wad.

AES was engineered by SNK to convert console gamers to arcade gamers. Lure you in with an AES and next thing you know you're down the CMVS and SuperGun rabbit hole.

The true neo geo experience is playing it in the arcades, not to mention the very rich guys back in the days bought a mv25up to enjoy really arcade feeling:

Yes, aes is poor people from a real arcade perspective/experience. And it has nothing to do with how much aes carts could cost. That's totally another thing.

As a bottom line, you could also discover that some mvs cabinets are truly a work of art, like mv25ta or the first neo50 made by daisho shokai. Brilliant design cabinets that go nowadays for more money than a Kizuna encounter english home cart if you can actually find them.
