This might have been posted already but whatever. A while back I was gonna get a consolized 6-slot.....but it was like $1300! So I was just gonna get a 2-slot with the works.....(possibly dual format if possible). Now, the AES looks nicer and has mem-cards but even with a convertor it can't play all MVS titles....but then I came across one from Arcadeshock.com on ebay PROMISING all MVS games can be played!! Is this BS? Should I still go 2-slot?

What type of 2 slot are you looking into to? A cab?
That Super Converter II will play 98% of the games imo only due to a minor sprite glitche I've experienced with the Fatal Fury games that have the dual fighting planes such as FFS,RBS & RB2.
It might have been a better idea to start this topic in the General Area

Basically from what I've read MVS is better cuz it has more games. All I want is a consolized 2-slot that (if possible) can play both AES and MVS titles, plus I want every available option that a mega modded MVS comes with: HD cables, unibios, mem-cards, ect.....

If you want the best of both worlds, you neeed to grab a US AES system ,MEGA MODDED and a Super Converter II
You purchase those two items and you'll be set.

Again, a person with little electrical experience and soldering skills can consolize a MVS board. It's not that hard......

I believe its only a prototype according to the neotropolis site and will likely charge you an arm and two legs for one anyway.

Why would anyone even want that?

If you have an MVS already, it makes absolutely no sense to purchase the more expensive AES counterparts.

I'd like to get my hands on something like that as I've had a really hard time digging up older MVS carts like Magician Lord and Super Baseball 2020 (they can be had, but the home carts are generally cheaper).

Some of us come from the AES world and have a lot of carts that we don't put to use because the cab is so much sexier and easier to swap out games, etc. It's a pain in the arse to take out the AES to play some games. I still have some games on AES that I didn't buy for MVS so a convertor for an MVS board to play AES titles was something I've wanted since I bought my cab/mvs setup.

You can easily make an AES-to-Jamma harness and use a home system in a cab.

yep, jamma fingerboard with 2 spare DB-15 controller cables. hack a neo RGB cable solder to appropriate pins etc... etc.. thought about doing it, but don't really care.
