This figure is a mixed bag for me just like Ninja Gaiden 2 Master mode.

Got my first revoltech. Shoulders are a little weird on this guy but have extremely good range. He can cross arm. Good ab crunch and accessories. Legs have good range but are horrible to move around and pose. You will be fighting posing him but once you get it will look good. He also has eyes that can rotate 360 degrees.

His left shoulder was stuck along with his right leg. Silcon shock oil fixed it. His leg also pops off at the thigh swivel. For something that is $100+ this should not happen.

He looks real good though and the accessories he comes with are great. Especially the metal chain. I have him in a basic pose for now until I decide what dynamic pose I want. I got him to balance without a stand which I like quite a bit for my displays.

With this in mind they are making a ninjga gaiden 3 ryu, kasumi and ayane. Ryu from there comes with the coveted Scythe. I would've liked to see nunchuks/lunar staff on this release.

1/18 is kind of meh, but the effects are great.

Got another RX78 Grand daddy entry grade kit to fool around with distressing. I only started with the shield and Im decently happy with the results using some snips to cut away material, an actual charcoal lighter, the hobby knife, a nail and and gunpla markers. Im a n00b at customization/weathering but it doesnt look too terrible.

No idea where to go with the actual figure though.





sidebar: I tried one of the Transformers "gunpla" kits I found at Hobby Lobby and I havent finished it, not sure if I will. I got the Megatron one because he looked titties (prime looks too "anime-esque"). The joints are nigh impossible to get together. Once they are in they are nice and tight and have good tension on them, but it almost feels like Im going to bust the socket or the ball joint just getting them together. Not nearly as fun. At least it was 40% off and only cost like $20 at hobby lobby. I *think* its this one here at BBTS:

Ive got SS86 Prime already, and have SS86 Magnus on back order from BBTS. I am bummed he's not a gun but like you said about today's climate in the US, I get it.
