Anyone have BAD neighbors? (ignorant, White Trash, Pigs, Drug Dealers, ETC...)

I moved into this house back in August of '07 - to my north was an old couple, very nice.

On the South was a very nice brick house, owned by a friendly teacher, but the house was for sale.

A couple weeks later she moved.

I was sitting on my neighbors porch one afternoon when this piece of shit truck just pulls in the drive way - 3 fatasses get out, hook a rope around a bush in the front yard, get back in the truck and floor it. Bush doesnt move.

He kept trying and trying to pull the bush out with his truck and eventually gave up, then drove off.

I knew right then that this was gonna be trouble.

A week later this white trash shithole of a family moves in.

Mom, dad, 4 fat girls.

All over 200lbs except for the youngest who is still thin somehow.

So we meet them, and immediately the mother tells us how 2 of the girls tried to commit suicide and 1 was raped, and another was in a psychward.

They are very fucked up.

Their yard is a pigsty.

The 2 older girls, now 22 and 18, dropped out of school.

I have no idea hosw they managed to get the house.

I live in a nice neighborhood.

They have shit EVERYWHERE in their yard.

They have 28 rabbits, 5 cats, 2 dogs, 4 rats and a gerbil.

They stole ducks from the pond in the back of a WalMart.

They leave trash in the driveway.

Never rake the leaves.

All they eat is Taco Bell.

2 weeks ago I had to call the police because the one girl cut the grass with a tractor they rented on the lowest setting and kept turning it around in my yard, taking my grass down to the dirt and chopping up my tree roots.

I asked them nicely to clean it up, to which they answered "pfft".

So my cop buddy made them come out and clean their shit up.

They are terrible people.

Does anyone else have a piece of shit neighbor?

I've called the heath department, zoning, the police and nobody can do anything.

And i have to be legal in this situation. Can't do anything with my family living here.

What can I do?

My parent last neighbors where drug dealers. They constantly had about 6 or 7 cars just parked in the yard. People sitting in cars in the drive way at all hours of the night. They'd throw beer cans into other peoples yards. Eventually after months the land lord got the evicted. The place was in such bad shape she had to take out the walls and replace them in many places. The disk wash had to be thrown away and all the flooring had to be replaced. The place was so fucking bad they wore mask then they where doing the work. It amazes me how some people can live like that.

See if you can pin them with video evidence. That's about all that I can think of. Either video or audio. Have a recorder handy and talk to them. If you can't do that, then get the neighborhood to rally with you. I've had neighbors like that before and i'm dealing with these hoodrats that are living across the street too.

I think they were probably able to get such a nice house because of the whole Section 8 deal. These people move out of their shitty settings and bring their crap with them. It's effed up how we're paying for that too.

Clessy: I have people like that in my neighborhood too. They act as if they own a car wash service and little league football but they're dealing drugs.

I have been there, and it is tough to live next to trash.

All you can really do is watch them like a hawk, and call in every possible offense you legally can.

Anything you can call the cops on them for.. do it. Any code violation. Anything at all. If you make them miserable enough maybe they will move out.

What a nightmare. Not much you can do man, except sit back and wait for them to mess up. My guess is that they will let the property fall into such disrepair, that they will be violating building codes. First comes a citation from the town council followed by eviction, but thats only if they don't repair anything after being cited. DIY home improvement is the most common building code violation, keep an eye out for that.

Does your subdivision have any deed restrictions? If it does, they will most certainly break those restrictions and you can report them for that.

Other than that no, in fact I come from a family that probably IS that neighbor, the one with the stuff everywhere. Soon as I could move I did because there was no breaking the habits.

I nearly pissed my pants.

I've had two people in the neighborhood move away because of one family. They moved in about 10 years ago. The father is a state trooper who just watches DVDs in his cruiser all day. He gets all his money from his mother, who owns a huge pastry store in Boston's North End. They're super Italian. Everyone in the neighborhood - or all of the Boston area - is at least partially Italian, but these people are hardcore. Every Sunday, you can't hear yourself think because they have their family parties. The street is lined with cars on both sides of the street. Two of the three kids are obnoxious as fuck. But when I was a kid, if I'd put them in their place, the father would come storming down and threaten to put me in juvenile hall. LOL. One of those parents who thinks their asshole kids can do no wrong. Spoiled as fuck too. The oldest one got an Audio for his 18th birthday. They got dirtbikes for Columbus Day one year. Their dogs are always getting loose and making everyone else's dogs go insane, plus they piss on everyone's plants. Anyway, they're really loud - that's why those two families moved away. They've quieted down over the years - some neighbors used to call the cops all the time - but maybe it just has seemed like that since I haven't been home as much.

My first place in Vegas was just plain scary. A few weeks after I moved in, I got a knock on the door around 3am. I had no idea who the guy was or what he wanted, so I didn't answer the door. He kept knocking for a good five minutes until my cat jumped into the window (I already called the cops and our security patrol). He took off after that.

In my second place, the people who lived just below me had screaming matches. They were abusive to each other and were so loud my next-door neighbors could hear them. I was about to call the cops on them but they moved out before I had the chance.

My current place is pretty cool, but I don't like my next-door neighbors for petty reasons. They take up a good chunk of the covered parking, and I swear there's like 3 families living there, too.

i have an old lady(early 50's) in the loft next door that has terriers. They bark at the slightest noise and she doesnt give a shit.
I left passive aggressive notes on her door to manage her dogs....

now i just jump up and down in front of her door until the dogs shut up.... she has to know it is me, but no one has said anything...


my next plan of action is cayenne pepper at the edge of her door cuz that's where the dogs bark.

that wont do shit , except the cops having slower and slower response times. the only time having and association would sort of helpful otherwise you cant do shit. the sooner you get that in your head the better off you will be. Unless you are willing to commit a crime there is nothing you can do.

Yeah, I've been to Tonks and seen his neighbors habitat first hand. They're fucking disgusting, he's not bullshitting.

Their lawn was full of dog shit, sticks, branches, a deflated kiddy pool, knocked over cement fountain, broken lawnmower, misc. kids toys, I think there was a fridge, maybe some bricks and cinder blocks, a whole bunch of other shit.

They have to know that everyone else in the area hates them.

Mike you should check the tax records for the property and see if they actually own the land. If they're renting it they probably just pay someone under the table and the actual owner is completely unaware of the state of the property.

I had some fun trashy, cracked out neighbors with kids once. When they first moved in, they bought a washing machine and drier, then found out they couldn't install them in their apartment, so they pushed them out into the front, pushed them on their sides, and used them as tables until the landlord told them to cut it out. They set-up an inflatable pool in our apartment complex's center area, full of jagged rocks and rose bushes, and accused my family of knifing their pool when they found a hole in it the next day. They screamed at us for "van-dale-eisen" their pool, then slashed our car's tires in retribution. My favorite part of the entire thing was that calling the authorities and the company that managed our apartment led to getting both of us evicted.

I've never had any terrible neighbors, but had a few interesting ones to say the least.

For awhile I had middle eastern neighbors who on the night of 9/11 threw a party at inside their house. Arab music blasting, cheering and dancing long into the night. The next day I called one of them over when he was in his driveway and asked him what the hell they were celebrating about last night. Dude got nervous as fuck, but said it was his friend's wedding that day. Couple of days later one of my friends confronted another guy living in the house near his mailbox and that guy said it was someone's birthday.

My buddy knew what the other guy had told me and instantly called the guy out. The dude quickly went back into his house and they moved out a couple of days later.

The next people to rent the house was a leather daddy gay couple. Guys were into hardcore kink and they made BDSM gear as a side job. Sometimes on the weekends at night you'd seem them coming and going wearing leather chaps, the strap chest harness. leather cap....etc.

For a brief span growing up we had neighbors who had a 50 year old retarded woman named Debbie living there. She looked more like 60, but acted about 6. Sometimes she'd come running out of the house wearing brightly colored sun dressing yelling "here come Debbie !!!"
