Any1 wanna duplicate insert?

Hi All,

I noticed with great interest that MVS cart cases are available. I'm a printer by trade, and I was thinking of making copies of original HC inserts so that they can be used on these MVS cases,or as spares of missing HC inserts.

Of course, this idea can't be fully realised unless there is a demand for them, I'm hoping someone out there can email me the dimensions of an MVS case so I can enlarge/reduce the original to fit..... at the moment I don't have many inserts (should have Garou, SS4 and MS3 soon, depending upon the reliability of Shawn, but that's another story.......), but if anyone's interested, or can help me with the sizes,please get in touch.

I'd be interested in the inserts, but I would think we should REDESIGN it a little and add the MVS logo to it.I got my cases today, and they have room in the front for the flyers which is nice, so now there is actually a use for them...

I hope I am not the only one that shares this feeling...

I'm all over this idea. I just wish my scanner were big enough to start sending you the inserts that I have from my home cart stash. I have 20 of these cases that I would love to put inserts into!

Great idea! I was gonna do this too, but will focus on something else now. Just a question for you, what program do you use to edit and resize images?

Yeah count me in, Im willing to take off your hands, as many as yu can get, if they are near home cart quality.

I'd be interested in getting some of the inserts and some of the cases (though I think $10 is a bit much...) My collection is mostly home carts, but if someone provided a place to get cases and inserts at a reasonable price, I may switch over to MVS carts! (after all, the same people keep buying all the Rare AES carts)!

djbomberman: I was thinking of adding an MVS logo as well but wasn't sure what size or where to place it on the insert. It should be a uniform logo that would fit on the same place on each insert. I would prefer a small, discrete logo. I'm gonna make up some "practice" copies and host them on my wen site soon.


jefmcc: Working in the printing trade, we use high-volume laser colour copiers which allow us to edit and resize documents via hardware (as in programming the printer) or via specially designed Canon ot Xerox software.


rugal2000: I've so far only made practice copies on KOF 99 and believe that these inserts are about 95% identical to the originals, which is far better than a home printer!

Also, I'd be aiming to print onto a higher quality paper than the originals.....
