Am I the only one who can't use the search function?

I've had problems with this, on several computers since I started posting in April. When I do a search, it takes a while then BAM! I 'm presented with a really cool white screen. I've waited a couple minutes to see if anything ever loaded, but it never happened.

If the search feature worked, maybe we'd stop seeing duplicate topics?

It only works when used in forums that are not really huge, like Tech Support (here it is where it is really needed) and Suggestion. If you try to use it in big forums like General discussion or Selling it's just too much and it dies.

By the way, I asked the same question in this same forum some time ago and got the same answer (you could have used the search engine here... )

Amano Jacu has it right. This problem with Search is supposed to be fixed with the latest version of UBB, which this Forum will most likely upgrade to in the future.

Yeah, it would rock if we could use the search in every forum, I'm looking forward to that new UBB version... Does it have other interesting features?

Hell, I'll just be glad if it works and we stop seeing tons of duplicate topics (I vividly remmeber the Tyson topic outburst during his last bout). It appears, as Amano Jacu pointed out, that I am also a victim of the duplicate topic syndrome.
