Anyone have the schematics for the console's power on a 5v system?

The AES I'm working on must have a short somewhere as I need to turn up the voltage to 5.20v to get it to boot and a TTL near the mem card slot is reading only 4.40v.

I thought my arcade power supply was failing at first then I tried with a spare AES PSU I have and had the same results(not turning up the voltage of course), no boot.

On a side note, the transistor that controls the reset signal was bad, swapped it out with a good one from a parts board and it fixed the "no reset" problem.

Hi James,

I've seen some 9v systems that need more than 9v to work, I think that it is due to some electronic weathering in the components, not just one. Do you know if there is a diode in the circuit?
One solution could be to try a step-up between the PSU entry and the "AES" in order to increase sligthly the voltage.

Saludos
