AES backup ram mod?

Has anyone heard of such a thing? The diag bios docs make reference to it, but I don't recall ever seeing anything about one. I'm not even sure why someone would do such a thing.

I think it never caught on because it wasn't worth the trouble.

From what I remember, the lack up backup ram on an AES is what's prevents attract sound from being enabled in mvs mode.

I think the main obstacle to having backup ram is the need to solder to NEO-C1 for the control signals. Not the easiest of tasks for a novice at soldering.
