last blade 2.....snks finest,the hell with samurai spirits,although 4 was damn good,i feel lb2 is one of the best games on this system period...

now i lay off playin my games for months on end sometimes,and as it always ends up,i come back and get all into some of them for about a week or so of non stop playing...

as i have within the past couple of days...

im always noticeing shit i never seen before...shit always pops up in snk games..

take for instance this...

im playin lb2,and im usein my main cat setsuna...

im whackin this guy,and at the final blow,i cut his head clean off!!...

i have seen bodies come in two,and all the blood spurting..

but i have never seen this decapitation scene...

this is why i love neo games...

some new shit always pops up,even when you think you know the whole game insideand out...

anyone else seen the heads fly???

i dont know ,i have a jap lb2 and a debug..i know on us systems the blood and shit is all censored..not sure on a euro...

Hello,

I have been playing Last Blade 2 for more than a year now and I still didn't get bored with it -as with every SNK game I own-.

Sometimes, I just forget about the fight and look at the background, the scenery and, bang, I always find something new, exactly as Drunken Shaolin Devil said. But I never seen something like this: cutting a character's head off. I have a japanese Last Blade 2 but never saw this happening when fighting with Setsuna.

It would be useful to know what move you performed.

Vicious. I'm a bigger fan of the 1st one, but I will have to play through 2 again and use Setsuna.

It would have beat Last Blade 2 by a mile if it had Setsuna. But even without Setsuna, I still think it's better.

Better stages, much better stages. Only stage I really missed form Last Blade 2 was Battle of Cloudy Sky. Otherwise, it's all Last Blade 1.

Fuck yes! I still much prefer Last Blade 1 over Last Blade 2. I couldn't get into 2 at all, it was such a letdown for me.

Mainly the presentation. I just like the look and feel of LB1 over 2. And the music... okay, a lot of stages just have the ambient sound effects, but when there IS music it's soooo good. The music in LB2 just didn't hook me like that.

And, I didn't really care for the new characters that much. Meanwhile, they ruined Yuki and the new generic "preset" Custom Combos in Speed Mode were lame. So yeah, I think LB1 is the better game. Good to know I'm not the only one. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I agree, LB1 looked alot better than LB2, but there is something that bothers me. Why is it that nobody complains about ambient noise in LB but they love to shitcan it in KOF'97?

I must also say that Shikyo kicks some ass, and boy did he recieve quite a head wound in LB2.

Yeah, that samurai-feeling rocks the house in single-mode, but i prefer Samurai Showdown IV...More hidden-moves, more combos, even more Super-Specials...

You guys can´t be serious.

Better Levels? haha! Shrine, Flames and Graveyard are the best levels ever made in LB.

Also the old characters have some to a lot more moves and are much stronger.

I totally agree about LB2 being a masterpiece. IMHO, probably the BEST (I did'nt say 'my favorite') fighting games ever. The three combo styles, an abundance of good characters, great stages, fun VS or against CPU. Just an awesome game. I must admit, there are things here and there that I like better about LB1, but all-in-all, LB2 is a much better-rounded game. I've played it a lot, and I can't say I've ever seen a decapitation. One thing I did see ONCE,and only once, was at the beggining of a match, Juzoh was eating a plate of bombs! I was going for speed, and I accidentally hit the button and skipped the end of the animation. Never saw it again <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
