A Neo MVS 1-Slot Prob......

Q to resident Neo Gurus:

I recently got a 1-slot and WTF??? The board has a Romstar logo sticker on it but the actual board itself has SNK Technology stamps on it also.

But this is the actual question tho'. This unit will play all of my MVS carts I got thus far like FF1, FF2, FFS, KoF96, SS2, SS3, SS4, Shock Troopers and Aof but my Sengoku 3 MVS cart doesn't work on this particular unit... I am getting jarbled graphics display all over the screen. I slacked the cart correctly into the slot as I'm doing the same thing with my other carts and their working except for the Sengoku3 cart. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

Hey Neo Gurus - what do you guys thinks??? WTH is wrong with this 1-slot I got??? Is the slot sound defective to you guys??? I also have a 2-slot and the Sengoku3 cart plays nicely on it so right now, I'm kinda stuck. Is this about the newer GIGA MVS carts with encryption routine on it (Motw, KoF2000, NitD, PH2, all the newer Neo carts). try pulling the cart out a little bit again after plugging in. my MOTW has a similar prob on my oldstyle 1-slot.

.....and its not just newer games!
My oneslot really dosent like Windjammers!
But my 4 slot plays it perfectly????

One slots are F'in weird!

I have no probs with any of my 1-slots. I had 4 1-slots, 3 different models, all worked with windjammers, MOTW, and any other game I threw at them.

I have to admit that I'm confused too, as I've had two different 1-slot mobos (old and new styles) and haven't run into any cart problems beyond the basic "take it out, plug it in again, it didn't sit right" stuff.
