Just something I made for myself this last weekend. I figure it'll be good to take with me when I go to EWU in the spring; plus I was tired of setting up my supergun every time I wanted to use it.

I still need to secure down the carpet in the middle section, and trim it up a little (hehe), but besides that I think thats all i'm going to do.

I auctually have a KOF:NW cart coming in the mail right now, and i'm debating on whether or not I should try and trade that MV-1F and like 6 of those carts for an atomiswave mobo, so just as a heads up...if anyone would be interested possibly, PM me about it.

anyways, I thought i'd share to see what people thought.

The only thing I would say is there might be a problem with static build up. I don't have a supergun to speak of, but static and electronics don't mix well. Other then that, it serves its purpose and let's you have it out at all time. Kudos.

BTW: It kinda looks like those cat towers you can buy at the pet store.

Ha. you guys just made me win $1 by saying it looks like cat scratching post.
So I guess thanks...

So is that auctually going to pose a static build up problem eventually, I never really thought that it would?

Carpet also hold heat. Thats why lots of people were losing their PS1's back then. Kids were playing them on the carpet, and their PS1's would over heat.

O RLY? dang. I might have to remove the carpet then. I thought it made it look more spiffy.

I was just jabbin at your ribs, by the way.

Thumbs up from me.

I've some arcade objects that would make your stand look like the Arc de Triomphe. They're whimsical - functional - and most importantly, made by your own hands.

Pretty nice. Especially that supergun ;)

I would suggest a piece of antistatic foam. Jameco sells them I believe. Or was that DigiKey.

Nice set up! I can see the Breakers duo :glee:

The funny thing is I have similar gear: D-Lite Supergun with MV-1F board + MV-1C (boxed) :buttrock:

hehe it sure is a nice supergun ;). Thanks for the info about the antistatic foam too, i'm gonna have to look into that real soon. I'm glad I posted this thread, or I would have never known that my nifty carpet would cause problems. :eek_2:

haha, Man I play Breakers Revenge more than any of my other carts. That is the most underrated fighter ever IMO. Thats cool that you and me have similar setups. I auctually sold that Mv-1C though, and it's just a box sitting up on my shelf for show. I think i'd prefer my Mv-1F over it any day though.

yeah I use the supergun just about everyday. Did you end up keeping the PSP, or did you give it away as a gift like you said you might do? And no... I've been busy lately, but soon that carpet is going to be gone, and i'm gong to get some antistatic foam that D-lite reccomended to replace it.

You would be surprised at how little I play my Wii. I think it's fun and all, i've just got bored with it...and now it just sits there. *shrugs* i'm thinking about selling it soon.

i've kept it thusfar, i ended up getting too many presents for my family this x-mas... ugh, wallet burn.

that foam would be choice for that, probably not as high off the wood as that carpet either.

maybe look at painting or finishing off the wood to a darker finish, or black?
